About the Role
Join ESS Metron as a Press Brake Operator and play a hands-on role in our sheet metal fabrication operations. You will be responsible for processing and bending sheet metal to precise specifications using Amada and Mitsubishi press brake machines, ensuring quality parts are produced safely and on time.

We're located in the Baker neighborhood of Denver: 1505 W. 3rd Avenue, Denver, CO 80223
Work Hours: 5:00 AM to 1:45 PM (with Overtime)

What You'll Do

  • Champion a Safety First culture at all times.
  • Set up and operate Amada and Mitsubishi press brake machines to bend sheet metal to spec.
  • Read and interpret prints, diagrams, and work orders to make proper machine and tooling adjustments.
  • Retrieve and load programs using the machine computer.
  • Partner with QC Inspectors on First Article Inspections and correct defects as needed.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance per the Operation Manual.
  • Accurately complete fabrication records and traveler papers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, machine, and tooling.

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certificate preferred.
  • 3–4 years of experience operating Amada press brakes or similar equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret prints, specs, and diagrams.
  • Strong shop math skills and attention to detail.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This role operates in an active manufacturing facility. Candidates should be comfortable working near moving mechanical parts, moderate noise levels, and occasional exposure to electrical hazards. Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
