Drill & Blast Crew Supervisor

The Role

Foxleigh Mine is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Drill & Blast Supervisor to join our Drill and Blast team. Reporting to the Mine Services Superintendent, you will play a key leadership role in supervising and coordinating the safe, efficient and compliant execution of drill and blast activities across the mine operation.

The role provides an opportunity to lead a high-performing team, contribute directly to production outcomes and drive continuous improvement in safety, blast quality and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Lead and supervise Drill & Blast crews to safely deliver daily production activities.
• Ensure all blasting and explosives activities comply with legislative, statutory and site requirements.
• Coordinate blast preparation, explosive loading, firing and post-blast inspections.
• Work closely with Mining, Technical Services and Drill & Blast teams to ensure effective planning, communication and execution.
• Drive a strong safety culture, accurate compliance and continuous improvement while demonstrating Foxleigh Mine's values.

About You

Essential Requirements:

• Current Open C Class Driver's Licence.
• Standard 11 Surface Coal Induction.
• S1, S2, S3 and G2 Supervisor Competencies (or ability to obtain).
• Current Queensland Shotfirer's Licence (or ability to obtain).
• Current Queensland Coal Mine Workers' Health Assessment.
• Minimum 5 years' experience within an open-cut coal mining operation.
• Previous experience supervising Blast Crew or Drill and Blast personnel.
