About Foxleigh Mine: 

Foxleigh Mine is located 15km south of Middlemount and approx. 275km northwest of Rockhampton. The mine is in its 25th year of operation producing premium PCI metallurgical coal for use in steel manufacturing. About the role:

We’re seeking a proactive and highly organised Mining Administrator to join our Production team. Reporting to the Mining Superintendent, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations through accurate data management, effective communication, and seamless coordination of production-related administration.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

• Maintaining accurate production records and assisting with daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Ensuring timely and accurate data entry into production systems
• Supporting scheduling, timesheet collation, and leave tracking for production crews.
• Managing personnel logistics, including accommodation and uniform coordination.
• Coordinating administrative requirements for shift coverage, toolbox meetings, and internal communications.
• Managing document control for procedures, SWIs, and compliance records.
• Providing administrative support for audits, inspections, and compliance documentation.
• Liaising across departments to align production plans and operational needs.
• Assisting with meeting coordination, presentation preparation, and reporting documentation.
• Undertaking adhoc administrative tasks that support the Production team.

About you:

You’ll bring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a solutions-focused mindset. You’ll be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, balancing competing priorities, and building positive relationships across departments. Ideally, you’re also focused on finding better ways to do things and improving admin processes to enhance efficiency and communication across site.

Ideally, you will have:

• Previous administrative experience, ideally within mining, construction, or another high-volume operational setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with production or maintenance systems (Pulse or similar).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
• A commitment to safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
