Medical Billing Assistant

About the Role

Our billing team is navigating an exciting new chapter. We're refining our processes, adopting the best tools, and building a foundation for the future. We're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented team member to join us at the ground level - someone who wants to learn the ins and outs of medical billing and grow with us.

You don't need to be an experienced biller. This is a highly teachable role, and we'll train you! What matters most is a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn. Some exposure to insurance, billing, or a medical office is a plus but not required.

This role requires IN-OFFICE presence 5 days/wk - please do NOT apply unless you can reasonably meet that requirement.

What You'll Do

      Sort revenue cycle (RCM) mail and deposit checks

      Verify insurance coverage for patients

      Obtain prior authorizations from insurance companies

      Submit claims and follow up on claim status

      Update practice demographics and communication preferences with insurance companies

      Support the billing team with day-to-day tasks as needed

What We're Looking For

      Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

      Reliable, coachable, and eager to learn

      Comfortable communicating with insurance companies and internal teams

      Some exposure to insurance, billing, or a medical office setting (preferred, not required)

      Able to work in-person at our Lehi, UT location five days a week
