Imagineeer

Program Manager

About the role

Imagineeer is seeking a Program Manager to run day-to-day delivery, acquisition transformation engagement for a federal civilian department. The contract replaces government gate reviews with continuous delivery, so disciplined planning, risk management, and status reporting are what keep the study, a parallel two-tool pilot, and implementation on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the Project Management Plan, integrated schedule, and deliverables tracker within 10 business days of award.
  • Establish and maintain risk, issue, and decision logs from the first day of performance.
  • Produce biweekly status reports covering progress, risks, change management, training, and configuration management status.
  • Plan around the first 90 days' security vetting and holiday calendar by front-loading information requests and interview scheduling.
  • Own stakeholder access, concurrency, and key staff availability risks, escalating through the Senior Executive Lead as needed.
  • Organize and assign work, oversee and evaluate task completion, brief client leadership on progress, and anticipate problems so tasks finish on schedule.
  • Coordinate with the Contracting Officer's Representative, the Senior Procurement Executive/Chief Acquisition Officer, and OFO leadership, and identify required Government data, system access, documentation, and interviews at kickoff.
  • Manage team onboarding and compliance, including signed non-disclosure agreements, security vetting, PIV credentialing, required records and CUI training, and timely notification of personnel replacements.
  • Run stakeholder meetings and weekly integration reviews, and supervise the Deputy Program Manager.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 10 or more years of IT project or program management experience, including at least 5 years managing federal task orders.
  • PMP certification.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams of 15 or more across concurrent workstreams.
  • Experience meeting fixed federal deliverable schedules and performance standards.

Desired Skills and Competencies:

  • Experience managing acquisition, financial management, or enterprise system modernization programs.
  • FAC-P/PM or equivalent federal program management certification.
  • Experience with firm-fixed-price or GSA MAS task orders.
