About InAir

InAir is a forward-thinking, fully remote consulting firm with a stronghold in Texas. We are proud experts in Airtable consulting services, partnering with mid-sized to large enterprises. Our mission is to harness the power of low-code platforms, enabling businesses to optimize their workflows, foster collaboration, and achieve ambitious outcomes through Airtable.

At our company, we foster a culture of honesty, responsibility, and accountability. These core values create a successful, innovative, and transparent workplace. Our remote work setting is built on trust, respect, and open communication, allowing team members to shine and grow.

The Role

You will turn how a business actually runs into a scalable, automated system, owning the client relationship from the first discovery call to final delivery. If you have ever been the person at your company who "figured out the tools" and ended up running the whole operational process, this role was built for you.

You own the client, the delivery plan, and the system build (primarily using modern relational/no-code platforms like Airtable, and integration tools like Make/Zapier). A dedicated internal Engineer handles custom code—your focus is architecture, configuration, project governance, and client success.

What You'll Do

  • Lead Discovery: Run client sessions to map complex workflows, identify operational bottlenecks, and translate business requirements into clean technical specifications.
  • Design Systems at Scale: Architect data models, relational schemas, automated workflows, and client-facing interfaces built to handle enterprise scale (ensuring a build that works for 10 records scales seamlessly to 100,000+).
  • Hands-on Configuration: Build and configure solutions directly. You won't write custom code from scratch, but you will build and own the core system structure.
  • Run Project Delivery: Own scope, milestones, status reports, and timelines across a portfolio of enterprise clients while coordinating technical execution with internal Engineers.
  • Optimize Existing Architectures: Audit clients' current system setups to make them cleaner, faster, and easier to scale.

What You'll Need

  • Systems-Building Track Record: You have shipped working systems in relational, low-code, or operations platforms (Airtable, Notion, Retool, HubSpot, Salesforce, Zapier/Make, or similar) that real teams rely on. Your background can be in solutions consulting, technical project management, operations, or engineering.
  • Relational Data Instincts: Deep understanding of relational database principles—linked records, primary keys, foreign keys, one-to-many/many-to-many relationships, and why schema structure matters at scale.
  • Client-Facing Project Ownership: Proven experience running client meetings, managing scope/expectations, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ownership: You thrive when you own the outcome, not just a to-do list.
  • Accountability: You own outcomes across multiple projects at once and don't wait to be told what's next.
  • Location & Availability: Based in the US, Canada, or Latin America, with English level of C1+ communication and alignment with US business hours (EST/CST/PST).

Nice to Have

  • Formal database or data modeling experience (SQL, ERDs, schema normalization).
  • Hands-on experience with Airtable, ClickUp, or similar workflow platforms.
  • Background in B2B consulting, technical agencies, RevOps, or business operations.

Work Structure

  • Type: Full-time (40 hours/week), fully remote.
    • EST/CST/PST (dedicated availability aligned with US business hours)
