Privacy & Fraud Specialist

Who we are?

InfoTrack is a leading SaaS technology innovator that is helping a range of professionals, businesses and individuals in a digital age. We care about what we do and the people we work with. We partner with our clients to identify their challenges and constantly look for ways to evolve our products to maximise their impact.

The Role

The Privacy and Fraud Specialist will support the operation and continual improvement of InfoTrack's privacy management and fraud management capabilities across all products. This role will be a key driver in the execution of our strategic compliance and accreditation initiatives specifically where a mature fraud management capability is required.

The role also supports the implementation, uplift and maintenance of Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM) controls across in-scope systems, helping prepare InfoTrack for independent security assessment (e.g. IRAP) and remediating findings to achieve and sustain the required security classification (e.g. PROTECTED).

About you

Highly organised and analytical, you're comfortable working autonomously, managing competing priorities, and building strong relationships across the business.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support the ongoing operation of InfoTrack's privacy and fraud management frameworks, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, accreditation obligations and industry standards.
  • Assist with Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), fraud risk assessments, incident triage, investigations and the maintenance of key registers, records and evidence.
  • Review product and platform changes to identify privacy and fraud risks, supporting governance, sign-off processes and privacy- and fraud-by-design principles.
  • Maintain privacy and fraud documentation, policies, controls and process guidance within governance platforms, including Vanta.
  • Prepare compliance reports, metrics and accreditation evidence, contributing to annual compliance reporting, assurance activities and regulatory reviews.
  • Develop strong relationships across Legal & Compliance, Security, GRC and Product teams, while supporting privacy and fraud awareness training across the business.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience operating a privacy management function (e.g. under the APPs, GDPR, or an ISO 27701-aligned program), ideally including PIA and data breach response experience.
  • Demonstrated experience building or operating a fraud control function, ideally with exposure to AS 8001 or an equivalent fraud control framework.
  • Experience working with, or willingness to quickly learn, Australian privacy and fraud control regulatory obligations relevant to digital identity, financial services, or data-intensive industries.
  • Comfortable operating as a hands-on individual contributor initially, while building the case for future team growth.
  • Experience implementing, operating and improving management-system style processes (e.g. a PIMS or FCMS and their supporting control guidelines) rather than just designing policy on paper.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills able to work effectively with across departments and levels.
  • Experience reviewing product or platform changes for regulatory/compliance impact, ideally within a regulated digital identity, financial services, or data-intensive industry.
  • Ability to operate within, and contribute to, a broader group-level governance framework alongside other framework owners.
  • Understanding of the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM) and the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF).
