Senior Client Partner

Kevel is a remote-first company that values collaboration, innovation, and transparency. We are the leading API-first ad serving platform powering the next generation of retail media and commerce media networks. We enable retailers, marketplaces, and commerce platforms to build, operate, and scale their own advertising businesses - unlocking new revenue streams while maintaining full control over data, user experience, and monetization strategy.

Our customers rely on Kevel to power sponsored listings, offsite media, audience targeting, and advanced monetization capabilities. As commerce media continues to transform the advertising landscape, Kevel sits at the center - providing the infrastructure and expertise to help customers launch and scale high-growth media networks.

JOB OVERVIEW: This is a senior customer and partnership role focused on two connected areas of ownership:

  • A strategic enterprise commerce media customer — serving as the primary day-to-day commercial and operational partner for one of Kevel’s most important customer relationships.
  • A broader strategic partner relationship — helping Kevel organize, grow, and operationalize a larger partnership connected to shared customers, new opportunities, and broader commerce media growth.

This is not a traditional CSM role and it is not a standard account management role. It is a high-impact client partnership role that combines customer leadership, commercial ownership, cross-functional coordination, and strategic partner management. You will work closely with Customer Success leadership, Retail Media Strategy, Product, Solutions Architecture, Sales, Partnerships, and executive sponsors to ensure the customer and partner relationships are well run, commercially focused, and positioned for long-term growth.

LOCATION: REMOTE/HYBRID- United Kingdom. While this role is primarily remote, candidates should expect to be onsite with the customer in London 1–2 times per week. Applicants located anywhere within the United Kingdom are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United Kingdom.

PAY TRANSPARENCY: Kevel uses external, third-party market data to determine compensation for all open positions. Our compensation philosophy is based on the candidate’s specific working location and experience level. This means that we will take a no negotiation approach in our recruitment and offer processes. We believe this is an important step in living our value of embracing diversity while underlining our commitment to fair, equitable and inclusive pay practices.

The pay range for this position is £91,000 - £107,000 OTE (combination of base + variable compensation). An exact offer for this position will be determined based on the candidate's working location and experience level, in relation to our existing team.

All compensation packages include the additional benefits as described in the 'Why you'll love working with us' section below. We also have a transparent ‘Total Rewards Philosophy’ we’d be happy to share with you which describes our overall approach to compensation and benefits in full detail! Our recruitment team can share more about this with you in an initial phone interview and will be happy to answer any questions you have related to compensation at Kevel!

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH:

  • Strategic Customer Ownership
    • Serve as the primary day-to-day Kevel partner for a strategic enterprise commerce media customer.
    • Lead regular customer cadences, QBRs, business reviews, executive working sessions, follow-ups, and onsite meetings when needed.
    • Build trusted relationships across customer stakeholders, including commercial, operational, technical, product, and executive teams.
    • Own account health, stakeholder confidence, risk management, and expansion planning.
    • Partner with Retail Media Strategy to connect the customer’s business goals to Kevel’s platform capabilities.
    • Partner with Solutions Architecture, Product, and Engineering to support implementation, adoption, technical progress, and issue resolution.
    • Translate customer needs, risks, and product feedback into clear internal priorities and action plans.
    • Identify and advance expansion opportunities across product adoption, usage growth, new monetization use cases, offsite, demand, and broader strategic initiatives.
  • Strategic Partnership Ownership
    • Help manage and structure a broader strategic partner relationship connected to multiple customer and commercial opportunities.
    • Maintain a clear view of partnership priorities, key stakeholders, relationship coverage, open items, risks, and next steps.
    • Coordinate across Kevel teams to ensure the right people are engaged at the right level.
    • Partner with Sales, Strategy, Partnerships, Product, and CS on shared pipeline opportunities and partner-led growth.
    • Prepare for senior stakeholder meetings, executive updates, partner reviews, and onsite sessions.
    • Ensure customer and partner signals are captured, followed up on, and translated into clear action.
    • Help turn the partnership into a repeatable source of customer growth, expansion, and market influence.
  • Day-to-Day Expectations
    • This is a highly customer- and partner-facing role. You will be expected to actively lead key customer and partner moments, not simply coordinate behind the scenes.
      • For the strategic customer, this includes owning the relationship rhythm, leading customer meetings, preparing and running QBRs, managing follow-up, surfacing risks, and making sure the right Kevel teams are engaged at the right time.
      • For the broader partnership, the work will be more strategic and cross-functional. You will help organize the relationship, track priorities, support partner planning, identify commercial opportunities, and keep internal and external stakeholders aligned.
      • Onsite engagement is expected when it makes sense — for major planning sessions, QBRs, executive meetings, launch moments, escalations, or partnership workshops. We will not prescribe a rigid travel cadence; we will trust you to understand where in-person time will matter most.

SKILLS YOU'LL BRING WITH YOU:

  • 4–6+ years of experience in retail media, commerce media, ad tech, marketplaces, or enterprise SaaS.
  • Experience working directly with retailers, marketplaces, or commerce platforms.
  • Experience managing large enterprise customers or strategic partnerships.
  • Strong commercial acumen and comfort owning growth-oriented outcomes.
  • Executive presence and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex stakeholder environments.
  • Strong internal leadership and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Confidence operating in ambiguity and turning complexity into clear action.
  • Comfort leading QBRs, business reviews, executive discussions, and onsite customer or partner meetings.
  • Strong follow-through, relationship-building skills, and customer judgment.
