Project Manager

The Project Manager will manage organizational projects with operational excellence and will lead program launches for new clients. Organizational projects may focus on but are not limited to initiatives, process improvement, and new systems or technology. This role may simultaneously manage multiple projects of low to moderate complexity.


The Purpose of Your Role

This role plans and manages assigned projects to ensure Liveops’ goals and objectives are accomplished. The Project Manager is the single point of accountability for all aspects of support needed to effectively plan, design, and implement assigned projects. Responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget, within scope, and effectively reporting on project status throughout the project lifecycle.


The Qualifications We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred)
  • 3+ years project or program management experience
  • Experience managing and leading projects through the project lifecycle
  • Proven track record of quality execution, results-driven mindset, and sense of urgency in resolving challenges as they arise
  • Understanding of Project Management processes, principles, artifacts, and tools
  • Proficiency with Smartsheet and/or another equivalent project management tool
  • Must be organized, methodical, and innovative in approach to the design and development of unique solutions to challenging business problems
  • Excellent organizational skills to successfully manage multiple projects
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral) and a demonstrated ability to lead meetings to effectively interact with clients, peers, and management
  • The ability to inspire support, affect change, and solve problems while anticipating roadblocks and mitigating risks
  • Strong sense of personal responsibility and accountability for delivering high quality work

The Value You Deliver

  • Lead the project team and/or the client to gather dependencies, obtain necessary information and requirements, establish timelines, assign work, track and report progress, and ensure timeliness of task completion while controlling scope
  • Prepare reports for upper management regarding project status
  • Develop and maintain project plans that support achievement of project-specific goals
  • Schedule and lead meetings, prepare agendas, effectively document information, and communicate action items and risks
  • Interact with clients and project sponsors as the key point of contact during the various stages of project lifecycles, building confidence with proactive communication
  • Ensure timely resolution of project roadblocks; manage and appropriately escalate delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes associated with project deliverables to management.
  • Update the appropriate stakeholders as needed
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Ensure all the required deliverables are produced and reviewed

  • Available for virtual meetings in a non-distracted environment.

  • Ability to travel as needed (Approx. 5%).
  • Ability to effectively create and manage to project plans for a variety of types of projects
