Position Overview

The Substitute Nail Instructor is responsible for providing high-quality instruction in nail technician courses, ensuring students are prepared for licensure and successful careers in the field, in the absence of the permanent instructor.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction in Nail Technician courses
• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with industry standards and licensing requirements
• Facilitate hands-on learning through demonstrations, practice sessions, and real-world application of nail care techniques
• Maintain a positive, professional, and engaging learning environment for students
• Track and maintain accurate records of student progress and performance

Qualifications

• Current Instructor License in Washington, DC. (preferred)
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the nail technician field (required)
• Previous teaching experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Salary and Benefits

This role is intermittent. Compensation will be a daily rate of $150.00 - $175.00.
