MBG Internship Program (2026)

Program Overview

The Summer Intern will gain hands-on experience across MBG’s sales, finance, operations, and supply chain functions. This rotational internship provides exposure to beverage distribution operations through real-world projects, cross-functional collaboration, and field experience. The intern will support daily business operations while developing an understanding of MBG’s end-to-end supply chain and distribution processes.


Program Objectives

Sales & Distribution

  • Shadow Account Managers during customer visits and market activities
  • Analyze territory sales performance and market trends
  • Support route planning and delivery coordination

Finance & Accounting

  • Assist with invoicing, reconciliation, and reporting processes
  • Support preparation of monthly financial reports
  • Participate in budget variance and operational cost analysis

Operations & Logistics

  • Assist with warehouse inventory audits and cycle counts
  • Support supply chain coordination and order fulfillment activities
  • Learn receiving, warehousing, and distribution processes

Procurement & Vendor Relations

  • Assist with purchase order tracking and vendor communication
  • Gain exposure to sourcing strategies and cost management practices

Logistics & Distribution

  • Analyze delivery schedules, route optimization, and carrier performance
  • Learn how MBG coordinates multi-state distribution operations

Project-Based Learning

  • Contribute to a supply chain improvement project focused on operational efficiency
  • Present findings, recommendations, and business insights to MBG leadership at the conclusion of the program

Program Deliverables

  • Weekly summaries of learning experiences and activities
  • Final report outlining observations, insights, and improvement opportunities
  • End-of-program capstone presentation to MBG Supply Chain leadership


Support & Evaluation

  • Assigned mentor within the supply chain team
  • Weekly feedback and guidance
  • Evaluation based on initiative, contribution, and presentation quality

 

Program Completion: Upon successful completion of the program, the intern will receive a certificate of achievement and a recommendation letter outlining their contributions and skills demonstrated during the internship.
