
Position: Sr. Communications Manager
Location: Bellevue, WA Headquarters-Hybrid (3 days per week)
Annual Salary Range: $120,000.00
We’re seeking a versatile Communications Manager who thrives at the intersection of storytelling, strategy, and execution. This role owns both internal and external communications — from crafting company-wide messaging and executive updates to managing media outreach, press releases, and industry award submissions. You’ll be the voice behind our brand narrative, ensuring clarity, consistency, and impact across every channel.
The ideal candidate brings experience in SaaS, PropTech, or real estate technology and understands how to communicate effectively to brokerages, agents, enterprise customers, and industry partners. You’re equally comfortable partnering with executives on strategic messaging, driving PR and brand visibility, and translating complex technology into compelling stories that resonate across the real estate industry.

Overview
This is an individual contributor role with significant cross-functional influence. The ideal candidate combines excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to distill complex information into engaging, audience-appropriate messages.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Communications
· Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans to support company goals, product launches, and key initiatives.
· Ensure all messaging aligns with brand tone, company values, and business priorities.
· Partner closely with leadership, Product Marketing, and Client Success teams to ensure internal and external audiences are informed, inspired, and aligned.
Public Relations & Media
· Lead all PR efforts including drafting, finalizing, and distributing press releases.
· Develop and maintain media lists, manage outreach, and pitch stories to journalists and industry publications.
· Build strong relationships with media, influencers, and industry partners to elevate brand visibility.
· Manage submissions for industry awards and speaking opportunities.
Internal Communications
· Plan and execute internal communications strategies that foster transparency, alignment, and engagement across teams.
· Draft company-wide announcements, leadership updates, and execute or support internal newsletters.
· Support internal events and initiatives with clear, compelling communications.
Client & External Communications
· Support client-facing messaging across campaigns, announcements, product migration plans, price increases and brand moments.
· Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure consistent and professional communication with clients and partners.
· Contribute to external channels including social media, blogs, and email communications.
· Be the point person for crisis communication execution, supported by the CMO
Content & Editorial Oversight
· Review, edit, and proofread all marketing and corporate communications to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency.
· Serve as a trusted editorial advisor to the Marketing, Product Marketing, and Customer Success teams.
· Uphold high standards for grammar, style, and clarity across all materials.
· Ensure all communications and campaigns comply with applicable regulations including CASL, CAN-SPAM, and GDPR.
What Qualifies You:
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
· 5+ years of experience in communications, PR, or marketing communications.
· Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
· Proven ability to translate complex information into clear, compelling narratives.
· Experience managing press releases, media relationships, and award submissions.
· Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
· Self-starter with a hands-on approach — comfortable planning, executing, and refining communications independently.
· Experience deploying email communication via HubSpot: creating email templates, managing lists, tracking communication campaigns and reporting
