Work Location and Language Requirements

We're open to candidates across Quebec, with a strong preference for those based in the Greater Montreal area. This is a remote-first role – you can work from home or from our Montreal office. Core hours are 9–5 ET, as you'll be working directly with clients across Quebec, so French and English bilingualism is required.

Why We Are Hiring

We deliver on our mission by empowering our partners to improve and streamline their mortgage lending operations with the nesto Mortgage Cloud. As Canada's most advanced cloud-based mortgage technology, our SaaS solution offers a best-in-class omnichannel experience. This platform consistently drives volume, boosts productivity, and lowers technology costs. This is a net-new role, created as we grow the team.

What Success Looks Like

As a Project Manager on nesto's B2B delivery team, you'll lead large, multi-stream SaaS implementation programs for our financial-institution partners. This role combines discovery and implementation ownership, from early requirements through delivery, testing, and post-launch stabilization. You'll partner closely with product, engineering, operations, and leadership to ensure programs are delivered efficiently and all stakeholders remain aligned. In order to be successful:

  • You take immediate ownership and drive progress from day one, even when faced with ambiguity.
  • You proactively organize work and bring structure where processes don't exist.
  • You identify and help implement foundational PM standards and practices.
  • You ramp up quickly on our SaaS delivery model – enterprise SaaS delivery experience is a must.
  • You demonstrate strong learning agility by absorbing large amounts of new information quickly.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of enterprise client implementations, from discovery through deployment and post-launch transition.
  • Facilitate discovery workshops along side our SMEs and requirements sessions to define scope, dependencies, and timelines.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into actionable delivery plans using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Product, Engineering, QA, Operations) and external vendors to drive progress and resolve blockers.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
  • Provide clear, consistent communication to client and internal stakeholders, including weekly status reports, risk logs, and steering committee updates.
  • Track project health and proactively identify delivery risks, capacity constraints, and cross-program dependencies.
  • Partner with other PMs to align workstreams across major accounts
  • Contribute to the evolution of nesto’s delivery framework.

What You Bring

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in project management, with at least 1 year delivering B2B enterprise SaaS or working in a systems-integration environment.
  • Proven ability to manage both discovery and implementation phases of large, multi-stakeholder programs.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, confident interfacing with executives, clients, and technical teams.
  • Comfortable managing complex, ambiguous programs with many moving parts.
  • Advanced organizational skills and an ability to drive alignment across diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar.
  • Knowledge of Agile or hybrid delivery models and the ability to adapt process to context.
  • Possess the ability to thrive in complex, fast-moving environments and a passion for bringing structure, communication, and predictability to cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Have

  • Project management credentials & methods: PMP (Project Management Professional) and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and/or other agile PM certifications.
  • Experience working with financial institutions, mortgage or lending technology, or regulated B2B environments.

This Role Might Be for You If

  • You thrive in ambiguous environments and can drive clarity without a playbook.
  • You enjoy building structure from scratch and take pride in leaving things more organized than you found them.
  • You lead with a servant-leader mindset – you enable your team rather than manage from above.
  • You're motivated by rapid learning and get energized when there's a lot to absorb quickly.
  • You welcome high leadership exposure and are comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • You're adaptable and can shift priorities without losing momentum.

You Shouldn’t Apply If

  • Your experience is strictly internal. If you have only managed back-office projects or internal tool rollouts, this will be a culture shock. We need external-facing, B2B Enterprise SaaS delivery experience where you’ve managed client expectations at scale.
  • You need a predefined playbook to succeed. We are currently building processes while delivering a massive initiative. If you need established structures and "perfect" documentation to get started, you will find our environment frustrating.
  • You lack "Startup or Scale-up Agility." If you are coming from a large, rigid corporate environment and expect a slow pace or clear departmental boundaries, you'll find our "Senior PM" scope overwhelming.
  • You are a "morning person" only by choice. Our schedule is dictated by our clients; if you cannot commit to working 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST, this role will not be a fit.
  • You are not willing to travel: We value being on-site with our partners. You must be willing to travel to client locations at least once a month. If this travel schedule is a dealbreaker, this role will not be a fit.

Interview Process

  • Recruiter Screen (30 min): An intro call to learn about your background and give you a real picture of the role.
  • Discovery Call (30 min): A conversation with the hiring manager to dig into your experience and assess mutual fit.
  • Take-Home Assignment / Case Study: A chance to showcase your skills through a practical exercise relevant to the role.
  • Case Study Interview (45 min): A deep dive into your submission, with time to get to know some team members and ask about the role and company.
  • Final Interview (60 min): You'll meet with the recruiter and two additional stakeholders for a final conversation before a decision is made.
  • Offer Stage: Pending successful background, criminal, and reference checks, you'll receive a formal offer to join the team.

What We Offer

  • Comprehensive Health Coverage: Top-tier extended health, dental, and vision coverage, featuring 100% drug coverage.
  • Health & Wellness Spending Account: A $1,500 combined annual flex fund for things like gym memberships or extra medical needs.
  • Generous Paid Time Off: 4 weeks of vacation plus 8 personal floater days.
  • Retirement Savings: Access to a group RRSP/DPSP plan featuring competitive company-matching contributions.
  • Telemedicine Services: Access via Dialogue and coverage for licensed practitioner services.
  • Family Support: Robust Maternity and Parental Leave Top-Up programs.

Diversity and Inclusion

At nesto, we believe that creativity and collaboration are the result of a diverse team. We are committed to fostering a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, and we strongly encourage women, people of color, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and individuals with disabilities to apply. We are committed to creating a workplace that is inclusive and welcoming to all.
