About this Position

Net at Work is seeking a hands-on, business-oriented Chief Technology Officer to lead and run the company’s day-to-day internal technology environment. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the CTO will be responsible for ensuring that our business applications, infrastructure, internal systems, support services, and security practices operate reliably, securely, and effectively across the organization.

This is an operational technology leadership role focused on internal systems, technology operations, application rollouts, user support, vendor management, and internal security. The ideal candidate is a practical IT leader who can balance strategic planning with hands-on execution and who understands how to keep technology aligned with business needs.


Job Responsibilities

  • Own and oversee Net at Work’s internal business application ecosystem, ensuring systems are reliable, secure, scalable, well-supported, and aligned with business operations.
  • Lead rollouts of new internal applications and major system enhancements across departments, including planning, requirements, testing, training, adoption, and post-launch support.
  • Apply sound SDLC practices, development best practices, and delivery frameworks to application rollouts, integrations, vendor-led implementations, and internal technology projects.
  • Oversee core technology operations, including infrastructure, cloud platforms, network operations, collaboration tools, end-user support, monitoring, escalation, and incident management.
  • Head the company’s internal security function, including security policies, controls, access management, risk management, vulnerability management, security awareness, and incident readiness.
  • Establish practical technology roadmaps, governance processes, operating standards, and prioritization models that support day-to-day business needs and company growth.
  • Manage technology vendors, implementation partners, licensing, renewals, support contracts, budgets, forecasts, and related technology spend.
  • Support technology due diligence and integration planning for acquisitions, with a focus on applications, infrastructure, security, vendors, licensing, and operational continuity.
  • Build and lead a service-oriented technology organization focused on reliability, responsiveness, security, documentation, accountability, and business partnership.
  • Partner closely with the COO and leaders across Finance, Legal, Compliance, People & Learning, Sales, Service, Operations, and customer experience to support business priorities.


Job Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in IT, technology operations, business systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, application delivery, or related areas.
  • 8+ years in senior technology leadership roles.
  • Experience owning enterprise business applications, internal systems, infrastructure, end-user support, and technology operations.
  • Demonstrated success leading internal application implementations, platform rollouts, business systems transformations, or vendor-led technology projects.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, application delivery best practices, implementation frameworks, integrations, testing, release management, and production support.
  • Cybersecurity leadership experience, including security controls, access management, risk management, compliance, incident response, vendor oversight, and executive reporting.
  • Experience managing technology budgets, vendors, licensing, renewals, implementation partners, and support contracts.
  • Experience in professional services, managed services, consulting, SaaS, technology services, or B2B services environments strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range: $180,000 to $200,000.

This position is also eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan.
