Position Summary/Role

As a QA Engineer, you’ll own the quality strategy for our platform—built on Salesforce Health Cloud and B2B Commerce. You’ll work across a product that serves multiple user personas including healthcare providers, clinic administrators, agents, and internal staff, each interacting with the platform through Experience Cloud portals, checkout flows, order management, and clinic onboarding workflows. You’ll partner with the Engineering Manager to build and mature our QA processes, collaborate with developers and the Salesforce Administrator to understand changes and their impact, and ensure releases meet a high quality bar before reaching production. You’ll design test plans, execute manual and automated testing, and advocate for quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new features and enhancements across the platform
  • Test end-to-end workflows spanning clinic intake and onboarding, product ordering, checkout, fulfillment, and payment processing
  • Validate Experience Cloud portal functionality across multiple user roles and permission models
  • Test integrations with external systems including Stripe payments, fulfillment service APIs, and WorkOS MFA
  • Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not impacted by new releases
  • Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps, expected vs. actual behavior, and severity
  • Validate Salesforce declarative changes—Flows, validation rules, permission sets, and page layouts—built by the Salesforce Administrator
  • Test across multiple browsers and devices to ensure a consistent portal experience
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies and provide quality-focused input during planning and grooming
  • Collaborate with developers during code review to flag potential edge cases and testability concerns
  • Help build and maintain automated test suites as the team’s QA maturity grows
  • Contribute to release readiness decisions—providing clear go/no-go recommendations based on test results
  • Work with the Engineering Manager to define and improve QA processes, coverage goals, and release quality gates
  • Partner with the Salesforce Administrator to understand business requirements and acceptance criteria, ensuring test cases cover intended functionality
  • Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues, verify fixes, and validate integration behavior
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies—standups, planning, retrospectives, and demos
  • Support UAT by preparing test scenarios and guiding stakeholders through validation

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of QA/QE experience in a web application environment
  • Experience designing test plans, test cases, and test strategies from requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing

  • Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman or similar) for validating integrations
  • Experience with defect tracking and test management tools
  • Ability to work within agile teams and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to think through edge cases and failure scenarios
  • Excellent communication skills - you’ll work across engineering, product, and business stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience testing on the Salesforce platform (Health Cloud, B2B Commerce, or Experience Cloud)
  • Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into deployment workflows
  • Experience testing payment gateway integrations (Stripe or similar)
  • Experience supporting healthcare or pharmaceutical industry platforms
  • Familiarity with Salesforce data model and basic SOQL for test data setup and validation
  • Experience with performance or load testing
