Quilr Inc.

Brand and Creative Design Intern

About QuilrAI

QuilrAI is an agent-native security company founded by security veterans to secure and operationalize the agentic enterprise across the entire agent lifecycle. We treat AI as a deployment problem—ensuring agents are assessed, governed by policy, and deployed via approved blueprints before they reach production, with every agent action decided before execution and verified afterward.

Headquartered in Austin, Texas, we partner with high-growth tech firms and enterprise customers across financial services, legal, and business operations to protect critical workflows against prompt injection, data exfiltration, and non-deterministic model behavior.

About the role

QuilrAI is hiring a Brand & Creative Design Intern to help build QuilrAI's foundations: the campaigns, launches, events and visual work that create a unique direction and voice, shaping a market leader. This is a role for someone with original creative ideas, not just for executing briefs. You will work directly with the CMO on brand, web, social, campaign and event design, with real ownership of ideas from the first week.

We are looking for exceptional visual taste and serious design craft: someone with an instinct for composition, typography, color and detail, and the technical fluency to execute at a professional standard across digital, print and motion.

This is a paid internship with a defined scope, a portfolio-worthy body of work, and a path to a full-time role for the right person.

What you'll do

  • Design on-brand work across the full surface area: website pages and modules, LinkedIn and social systems, sales and pitch decks, one-pagers, email, swag and launch collateral
  • Design experiential and event creative: booth and stage environments, vehicle wraps, large-format print and billboards, signage, dimensional swag and installations, working with vendors and printers on specs and production
  • Lead creative concepts, not just layouts: pitch campaign ideas, visual treatments and new ways to tell our stories, then build the comps that sell them internally
  • Create original visual work within the guidelines: illustration, iconography, data visualization, motion and micro-animation, and templates the rest of the company can use
  • Turn abstract product ideas (agent governance, observability, enforcement) into visuals people understand at a glance
  • Produce finished, production-ready files, fast, and own the details: type, spacing, color, export specs, responsive behavior, print tolerances
  • Build and maintain a visual library (Figma components, templates, asset packs) so the work scales without you in every file
  • Bring outside references and a point of view every week: what is happening in design, motion, fashion, editorial and tech, and what we can learn from it

Who we're looking for

We are hiring for a world-class standard. This is what that means to us:

An exceptional eye. Your work shows typographic precision, compositional control, restraint and a distinct visual voice. You can articulate why one solution is better than another, and you measure yourself against the best studios and brands in the world, not against the category you happen to be working in.

Mastery of the craft and the tools. Figma is second nature (components, variants, auto layout, prototyping). You are highly proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects or Premiere) and move between static, motion, web and large-format print without friction, including setting up print-ready files for vendors. Experience using generative tools (Midjourney, Runway, Firefly or similar) in a real workflow is a plus; so is front-end sense (HTML/CSS, Webflow, Framer).

Creative leadership. You originate ideas rather than wait for them, build the case for your concepts, and present and defend your work confidently to a CMO and a CEO. You take direction well and push back with conviction when you believe in something.

Range. You are equally strong on a social post, a keynote stage backdrop, a 30-second motion piece, a landing page and a vehicle wrap, and you understand how a single idea translates across all of them.

Rigor and speed. You ship finished, production-ready work on real deadlines (launches, events, campaigns), with multiple projects open at once, and you own every detail: type, spacing, color, export specs, print tolerances. You ask sharp questions, then move.

Intellectual curiosity. You do not need a security or AI background, but you need a genuine interest in making complex, technical ideas feel clear, human and compelling.

Background. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in graphic design, communication design, interaction design, motion design or a related field, or equivalent self-taught experience with a portfolio that proves it.

What this role is not

  • A production seat where briefs arrive fully formed and you execute them
  • A role for someone who needs a creative director's direction before starting
  • A template-filling job: we have templates; we want the person who makes the next ones better
