About the role

Every year, employers and employees spend more than $5 trillion on benefits globally. These products—from health insurance and retirement to fertility, mental health, telemedicine, and financial wellness—shape some of the most important decisions families make. Yet discovering, purchasing, and managing them remains fragmented, expensive, and confusing.

Rippling is building the first modern benefits marketplace that connects brokers, employers, employees, and benefit providers in one platform. Our benefits vertical includes the Rippling Benefits Platform, a rapidly growing marketplace of more than 100 partners, Rippling-native benefits products, and Rippling PEO.

We are looking for a Growth Product Lead, Benefits Marketplace & PEO to turn these product assets into a scaled growth engine. You will own the strategy and product roadmap to unlock growth by expanding the customers and benefit categories Rippling can serve. This role will play a central role increasing marketplace adoption and revenue.

This is a highly cross-functional, zero-to-one role at the intersection of product, growth and go-to-market. You will work with Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, Benefits Advisors, Business Development and Operations,. Success will be measured in business outcomes—including qualified demand, funnel conversion and revenue and not only in features shipped.

What you'll do

  • Own the growth strategy and corresponding product roadmap for the Benefits Marketplace and PEO, with a clear mandate to expand the addressable market.
  • Execute product led growth plan across benefit categories, geographies, employer profiles, and distribution channels.
  • Expand the marketplace's addressable market by identifying and prioritizing new customer segments based on unmet demand, revenue potential, strategic deal unlocks, and Rippling's right to win.
  • Expand awareness and consideration for the Benefits Marketplace by improving how employers discover, understand, compare, and evaluate relevant benefits.
  • Accelerate PEO top-of-funnel growth by increasing awareness, improving education and discovery, and creating high-intent entry points that generate and qualify demand across organic, in-product, partner, broker, and sales-led channels.
  • Expand PEO's TAM by identifying customer profiles and market opportunities Rippling does not serve well today, then shaping the positioning, packaging, product entry points, and cross-functional investments needed to reach them.
  • Translate the growth strategy into clear product requirements, prioritized bets, channel plans, and measurable top-of-funnel experiments—while partnering closely with downstream owners on clean handoffs and shared learning.

What you will need

  • 8+ years of product management experience, including meaningful ownership of growth in B2B products.
  • A track record of delivering measurable business outcomes—such as revenue, conversion, retention, attach, adoption, supply growth — through a combination of product and go-to-market levers.
  • Strong product judgment and commercial instincts: You can connect customer problems, market dynamics and growth strategy into coherent product capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical skills: You can define a funnel, build a business case, segment customers and partners, evaluate experiments, and turn ambiguous data into clear decisions.
  • Customer obsession: You are equally comfortable speaking with employers, employees, brokers, partners, sales teams, and operations —and translating their needs into scalable products.
  • Strong technical fluency and systems thinking. You can work effectively with engineers on data models, integrations, AI-powered workflows, operational tooling, and platform capabilities without losing sight of the customer or business outcome.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, with the ability to align executives and cross-functional teams around a strategy, metrics, priorities, and tradeoffs.
  • A self-starter with a bias toward action who thrives in a fast-moving environment, creates clarity from ambiguity, and can shift between long-range strategy and detailed execution.
  • Experience in benefits, insurance, PEO, payroll, marketplaces, partner ecosystems, or B2B2C products is a strong plus.
  • Founder or hypergrowth startup experience is a strong plus.
  • Strong alignment with Rippling's leadership principles, especially Go and See and Are Right, a Lot.
