Job Overview

The Assistant Finance Manager will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting leadership with meaningful financial insights.

This position requires a hands-on finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance day-to-day accounting responsibilities with forward-looking analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting and Analysis

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to improve financial performance
• Support management with ad hoc reporting and variance analysis

Accounts and Controls

• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Ensure timely and accurate transaction processing
• Develop and maintain financial systems, controls, and procedures
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and financial regulations

Budgeting and Forecasting

• Prepare and assist in managing budgets and forecasts
• Develop cash flow projections and monitor working capital
• Analyze trends and provide recommendations to leadership

Audit and Compliance

• Assist in preparing audit schedules and documentation
• Support external auditors during audit cycles
• Ensure proper documentation and financial record retention

Cross Functional Support

• Partner with operations, sales, and leadership teams to provide financial analysis
• Support strategic initiatives with financial modeling and reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• CPA or MBA preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial management or accounting
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with financial reporting software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
