Lifecycle Marketing Manager

The Opportunity

Seamless is looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to own the journeys, systems, and automation that turn interest into pipeline, and pipeline into revenue.

This role is for the hands-on marketer who has spent years thinking about what happens after someone raises their hand. You know that great marketing does not stop at acquisition. It continues through onboarding, activation, engagement, expansion, and retention.

You'll sit at the intersection of Marketing, Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations, building the infrastructure that makes every touchpoint feel timely, relevant, and connected to revenue.

Your Team

You'll partner closely with Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Revenue Operations, Sales, Product, and Customer Success.

These teams are not looking for someone to simply send emails. They need a lifecycle marketer who can connect the dots across the funnel, understand the customer journey, and build the systems that help the right users take the right actions at the right time.

You'll be the owner of the automation layer that helps Seamless scale smarter.

  • Sharper Journeys, Better Outcomes: Improve how prospects, free users, trials, and customers move through the funnel by creating more personalized, relevant, and effective lifecycle experiences.
  • Cleaner Sales Handoffs: Strengthen segmentation, lead scoring, routing logic, and behavioral triggers so Sales receives higher-quality opportunities at the right time.
  • Faster Activation: Build onboarding and engagement programs that reduce time-to-value and increase meaningful product adoption.
  • Scalable Automation: Create documented workflows, reusable playbooks, and AI-first automations that grow with the business.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Continuously test messaging, timing, CTAs, segmentation, and journey logic to improve lifecycle performance.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle marketing strategy across prospect, trial, customer, and expansion journeys.
  • Design, build, and optimize multi-channel campaigns across email, in-app messaging, SMS, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Create nurture programs for prospects, free users, customers, and expansion opportunities.
  • Manage lifecycle automation infrastructure, including Customer.io, Claude, N8N, audience segmentation, behavioral triggers, lead scoring, workflow logic, and documentation.
  • Develop audience segmentation strategies based on personas, funnel stage, firmographics, product behavior, and use cases.
  • Partner with Product and Growth teams to improve onboarding, activation, feature adoption, and product-led growth initiatives.
  • Monitor lifecycle performance across engagement, conversion, activation, retention, expansion, MQL velocity, and pipeline influence.
  • Design and execute A/B tests across messaging, timing, offers, and customer journeys to improve business outcomes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations to align lifecycle programs with revenue goals.
  • Document processes, automation workflows, and lifecycle playbooks to support long-term scalability.

Skills & Requirements

Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in Lifecycle Marketing, CRM Marketing, Growth Marketing, Demand Generation, or Marketing Automation within a B2B SaaS or high-growth technology company.
  • Demonstrated success building and optimizing automated customer journeys from strategy through execution.

Core Competencies
  • Deep understanding of customer lifecycle strategy and marketing automation.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience measuring activation, engagement, conversion, retention, expansion, churn, MQL velocity, and pipeline influence.
  • Excellent written communication with the ability to create compelling lifecycle messaging.
  • Ability to translate performance data into actionable recommendations for Marketing, Product, Sales, Revenue Operations, and leadership.
  • Self-directed with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Bias toward experimentation, rapid iteration, and continuous improvement.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Marketing, Growth, Revenue Operations, Lifecycle Marketing, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting product-led growth (PLG), freemium, or self-service SaaS motions.
  • Familiarity with sales technology, revenue technology, and RevOps ecosystems.
  • Experience integrating marketing automation, CRM, product analytics, and customer data platforms to create seamless customer journeys.
