About the Role:

Job Title: Global Supply Chain Manager

Experience: 8+ years

Location: Pune

We are looking for a Global Supply Chain Manager to own the end to end supply chain for Sibros hardware. This is an ownership role, not a coordination role. You will own supplier relationships and agreements, demand planning against long component lead times, global trade and customs compliance across the United States, the European Union, and India, carrier and third party logistics partnerships, and the inventory system of record. You will set the policies that govern how we forecast, buy, hold, move, and return hardware, and you will be accountable for the cost, timing, and compliance of every unit that moves.

The role sits at the point where customer commitments meet supplier capacity. Component lead times run six to twelve months, we order against forecasts ahead of customer purchase orders, and we are building our own telematics control unit alongside our existing supplier portfolio. You will own the risk that sits inside that gap. You will work directly with Finance on inventory exposure, with Sales and Technical Program Management on customer commitments, with Legal on supplier and export compliance, and with Engineering on new product introduction.

This role is built for someone who raises problems early, escalates without being asked, and closes them without being chased.

What You'll Do:

  • Supplier Management and Procurement- Own supplier relationships end to end, from qualification and onboarding through agreement execution and ongoing commercial management. Ensure every supplier is onboarded under a signed agreement before we transact. Issue approved purchase orders to suppliers within 24 hours and drive supplier follow through to committed dates.
  • Demand Planning and Inventory Strategy- Build and maintain the rolling demand forecast that long component lead times require. Set and maintain regional buffer stock levels and reorder points. Own the inventory position against both committed and forecast customer demand, and surface working capital exposure to Finance before it is committed rather than after.
  • Global Trade and Customs Compliance- Own import and export compliance across the United States, the European Union, and India. Maintain entity registrations, EORI and VAT numbers, product classifications, Incoterms, and customs broker relationships. Ensure every shipment departs with complete and correct documentation so that clearance is routine rather than an escalation.
  • Logistics, Carrier, and 3PL Management- Own carrier and third party logistics relationships, contracts, and rates. Manage freight and landed cost per unit as a reported metric with a target. Own shipment escalation end to end, including direct escalation into carriers, so that Engineering and Technical Program Management are never asked to execute logistics work.
  • Returns, Warranty, and Device Lifecycle- Own the returns and warranty process from customer intake through supplier claim and closure. Maintain unit level traceability across serial number, IMEI, and SIM for every device from receipt through decommissioning.
  • Systems, Reporting, and Process Ownership- Own the inventory system of record and its accuracy. Maintain the operating procedures and runbooks that govern the hardware process. Publish the weekly open order report, the monthly inventory reconciliation, and the quarterly demand forecast, and hold the numbers to an audit ready standard.
  • New Product Introduction Support- Support the launch of Sibros designed hardware by owning supplier selection, component sourcing strategy, contract manufacturer evaluation, and the supply chain readiness plan from prototype through production.

What You Should Know:

  • Education: Bachelor's / Master's degree in any discipline.
  • Professional Experience: 8+ years in supply chain, procurement, or global logistics, including at least 3 years owning a function rather than executing within one.
  • Demand Planning: Demonstrated ownership of a demand forecast against component or finished goods lead times of six months or longer, including buffer stock policy and reorder point setting.
  • Trade Compliance: Hands on ownership of import and export documentation and customs clearance in at least two of the United States, the European Union, and India, including direct management of customs brokers.
  • Commercial Management: Experience negotiating and managing supplier, carrier, and third party logistics contracts, and managing freight and landed cost as a controlled expense.
  • Systems: Ownership of an ERP or inventory management system as the system of record, with advanced Excel and Google Sheets capability for reconciliation and reporting.
  • Ownership and Escalation: A proven record of raising risks early, escalating without prompting, and closing issues without follow up. This is the most important requirement of the role.
  • Communication: Clear and timely communication across the United States, European Union, and India time zones with internal teams, suppliers, carriers, and customers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related field. APICS CPIM, APICS CSCP, or CIPS certification.
  • Industry Context: Experience in hardware enabled, IoT, automotive, or embedded systems environments, including exposure to automotive quality standards such as IATF 16949.
  • New Product Introduction: Experience taking a new hardware product from prototype to volume production, including electronics manufacturing services and contract manufacturer selection.
  • Regional Expertise: Established customs broker and freight forwarder relationships in India, and working familiarity with the India to European Union and India to United States shipping lanes.
  • ERP Proficiency: Experience with NetSuite, Odoo, Zoho, QuickBooks, or other ERP and inventory tools, and with Jira as an operational workflow system.
  • Lifecycle Management: Exposure to returns, reverse logistics, refurbishment, and end of life device disposition.

What we offer:

  • Competitive Compensation: A package inclusive of performance incentives.
  • Growth Environment: A dynamic work environment with a flat hierarchy and rapid career advancement.
  • Learning & Development: Access to continuous learning and professional development opportunities.
  • Work-Life Balance: Flexible working hours and a culture that promotes balance.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Health insurance and wellness programs.
  • Modern Policy: Flexible vacation and paid time off, you decide when you need a break.
  • Team Culture: Regular team events, off-sites, and a budget for online courses, books, and conferences.

Employment Opportunity

Sibros is committed to a policy of equal employment opportunity. We recruit, employ, train, compensate, and promote without regard to race, color, age, sex, ancestry, marital status, religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, veteran status, present or past history of mental disability, genetic information or any other classification protected by state or federal law.
