Position Title: BAS Service Developer II — BAS Applications and Automation

Position Location: Remote with up to 50% travel to client sites throughout the US, must be located near a major US airport

JOB SUMMARY

The BAS Service Developer II designs, builds, and maintains the internal software tools that power the Smart Tech Contracting Service Division, including analytics, reporting, and workflow platforms such as Atheon. A core part of this role is embedding AI into the day-to-day operation of those tools so that the Service Division and other departments work faster, more consistently, and with less manual effort. This role turns real service operations — emergency response, preventative maintenance, site validation, ticketing, and client reporting — into reliable, secure, and easy-to-use applications.

In addition to software development, the BAS Service Developer II supports limited site validations and service work in Healthcare, Industrial, and Mission Critical / Technology environments. Direct field exposure keeps the tools grounded in how technicians and clients actually work.

The BAS Service Developer II will work with the service manager, service technicians, program managers, the project / service ticket manager, QA/QC, business development, and other internal departments, as well as client staff, while building tools and performing field support. The BAS Service Developer II will rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Work is subject to technical review and is performed under moderate supervision.

This person will communicate and operate in line with organizational goals and values, as well as departmental objectives.
