Soltis Investment Advisors is a nationwide, fee-only registered investment advisory firm managing approximately $14 billion in client assets. Since 1993 we have helped individuals and institutions create, build, and manage wealth so they can focus on life’s most important pursuits. We are seeking an energetic, driven Wealth Management Advisor to establish and grow the Soltis presence in one of our expansion markets.
Location: South Florida
As a Wealth Management Advisor, you will:
· Execute on four proven growth strategies in your market, each supplied and funded by the firm and each supported by its own training program.
· Convert firm-supplied opportunities into funded, lasting client relationships.
· Complete Fidelity Wealth Advisor Solutions certification and serve as the Soltis representative to the Fidelity branches your office covers.
· Host a minimum of six client and prospect events each year, with the campaign, content, venue support and follow-up systems supplied by the firm.
· Maintain strong client retention by delivering responsive service, cultivating trusted relationships, and conducting regular portfolio reviews.
· Guide clients through complex financial planning needs.
· Collaborate with the wealth management team to develop customized investment portfolios that may include stocks, bonds, ETFs, structured notes, and alternative investments.
· Develop centers of influence locally, including accountants, attorneys, and other professional referral sources.
· Lead your local team of an Analyst and a Client Relationship Manager, and mentor your Analyst toward a client-facing role of their own.
We are looking for individuals who blend strong presentational and sales skills along with exceptional client service and customer experience attributes.
· Bachelor’s degree.
· Series 65 registration.
· At least two to three years of experience in the financial services industry.
· Demonstrated success in building client relationships, identifying needs, and closing business.
· Resilience and self-direction, with the drive to meet and exceed a growth target.
· Established in the local market, with community ties and professional relationships to build on.
· Willingness to travel, including an initial onboarding and training program at our corporate offices in St. George, Utah, and periodic return visits thereafter.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
· Strong knowledge of investment products and financial solutions, along with effective presentation skills.
· Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and written and verbal communication abilities.
· Professionalism, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
· CFP® certification, or a willingness to pursue additional education and credentials.
· Prior experience presenting to groups or running client events.
· Existing client relationships are welcome but are not required. Where an advisor brings a book of business, we will discuss it separately and on its own terms.
We support our advisors with meaningful opportunities and resources, including:
· A three-person office. You, an Analyst, and a Client Relationship Manager, so that proposal work, client servicing, paperwork, cashiering and scheduling are handled around you.
· Firm-supplied lead flow. Four proven growth strategies, funded and operated by the firm, rather than a cold-calling list.
· A structured first year. Month one covers our platform, technology, process and compliance. The growth strategies then come online one at a time, so you are never asked to learn everything at once.
· Soltis University. Our internal learning platform, with continuing education and ongoing training throughout your career here.
· Office space provided. Your office opens in a professional executive suite and converts to permanent space as the market grows.
· Home-office support. The investment management, financial planning, operations, compliance and marketing resources of a $14 billion firm.
· Mentorship and career development support.
· A flexible, collaborative work culture.
· A commitment to supporting work-life balance.
We pay a base salary while you build, and you move to uncapped variable compensation as your practice grows. There is no ceiling on what you can earn.
· Base salary: A competitive base salary, paid from your first day.
· Variable compensation: A share of the gross revenue your client relationships produce.
· Total compensation: Competitive with market rates and market expectations for the role and your market.
Full compensation details are discussed during the interview process and set out in the offer letter.
Our robust Total Compensation package also includes:
· Health Insurance: Multiple medical plan options, with significant employer contributions toward medical, dental, and vision premiums.
· Retirement Savings: A fully vested, employer-matched retirement plan, with administration and management fees covered by the firm.
· Paid Time Off: Paid vacation, personal leave, and floating holidays, with accrual rates that increase based on years of service.
· Parental Leave: Paid maternity and paternity leave.
· Wellness & Additional Support: Wellness benefits, including health club membership reimbursement, as well as paid leave for bereavement, jury duty, and military service.
