Tri-State Installation Specialist

STARK is seeking a Tri-State Installation Specialist to support our installation and fabrication operations. This full-time position plays a critical role in ensuring projects are executed efficiently from scheduling through completion while maintaining STARK's standards for quality, service, and customer satisfaction.

Job Summary:

The Tri-State Installation Specialist will oversee and support day-to-day carpet installation and fabrication operations. This role serves as a liaison between internal teams, external installers, and customers to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within quality standards, and in compliance with company procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong flooring industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to proactively resolve field challenges.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day carpet installation and fabrication operations from scheduling through project completion.
  • Coordinate with installers, fabricators, warehouse personnel, sales teams, and customer service teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor installation schedules and proactively address issues that may impact project timelines.
  • Conduct site visits, field measurements, and quality inspections to ensure installations meet STARK's standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve installation challenges, field issues, and customer escalations.
  • Review project specifications, floor plans, and installation requirements to ensure project readiness.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, pre-installation checklists, supply sheets, and installation records.
  • Communicate project updates and installation status to internal stakeholders and customers as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and installation best practices.
  • Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in carpet installation, flooring operations, project coordination, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of carpet installation processes and field operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed floor plans and project specifications.
  • Must be capable of identifying installation requirements and coordinating necessary materials and labor.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project tracking systems preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
