Job Purpose:

The Site Supervisor at Starway Roof Systems plays a crucial role in ensuring that all projects get done safely and efficiently. Additionally, the role extends to talking with the neighbors of the current job site and ensuring them we will take care of all debris that may come in their yard.

You will work closely with one of our foreman or sub crews to make sure the job site stays clean and organized while also assisting the crew with ground clean up and roof removal as needed.

This role will also be responsible to take photos throughout the day as well as communicating with our Production Manager to ensure the project is staying on pace. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for resolving workplace challenges, enhancing productivity, and elevating the quality of outputs. An integral part of this role involves ensuring necessary materials and supplies get delivered to the job site by doing a material check as soon as materials arrive on site. The Site Supervisor will also be tasked with preparing and submitting regular work progress updates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and Coordinate: Lead and oversee the activities of workers engaged in roofing and related construction tasks. Ensure effective allocation and utilization of resources.
• Schedule Management: Maintain project schedules set by the Production Manager, ensuring all activities are executed on time.
• Quality Control: Oversee procedures to enhance productivity and the quality of work. Address any issues related to workmanship or materials.
• Materials and Supplies: Manage the requisition of materials and supplies necessary for construction projects. Ensure availability of required resources.
• Work Progress Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on the progress of work, documenting any delays or discrepancies, and submit them to management as required.
• Issue Resolution: Act swiftly to resolve any conflicts or problems that arise on-site, maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
• Team Player: Have an attitude of continuous improvement.
• Customer Service: Maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and addressing any concerns promptly.
• Obtain Leads: Secure appointments for the Starway sales team by door knocking at the neighbors of the job sites.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a roofing supervisor or in a similar role in construction.
• Strong knowledge of roofing systems and materials.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and building codes.
• Problem-solving abilities.

PAY STRUCTURE

• $25-$30 per hour
• Up to $75 per Google Review
