MoldCo

Virtual Care Nurse Practitioner (APRN)

About The Immune Co.

At MoldCo, we're committed to improving healthcare accessibility and outcomes for those affected by toxic mold and environmental exposure. Join us in our mission to transform the diagnosis and treatment of this often-overlooked condition through innovative telehealth solutions.

About the role

We are seeking a forward-thinking, tech-savvy, and highly collaborative Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join our care team. This is not a "plug-and-play" clinical role. You will be directly involved in making specialized care accessible to patients in our key launch states and nationwide, while enjoying the clinical freedom to treat patients as individuals.

Your insights will be crucial in refining our clinical guidelines, driving innovation within our telehealth platforms, and shaping the future of asynchronous medicine through innovative care delivery models that allow for deeper patient engagement and continuity, all while maintaining the flexibility of async work.

This is a full-time role and fully remote. You will report to our Medical Director. Candidates must be very well licensed (25+ states).

The opportunity:

  • Fully remote opportunity
  • Full-time roles begin as contractor positions during the probation period
  • Highly collaborative clinical and operations team
  • Opportunities to contribute to research and protocol development
  • Supportive culture focused on provider and patient well-being
  • Flexible hours and competitive hourly compensation
  • Medical malpractice coverage included
  • Ongoing professional development and Mold Illness-specific training

Benefits include:

  • Competitive salary range: $120,000 - $185,000 per year (based on experience and
    qualifications) with performance-based incentives
  • Equity awards
  • Medical and dental insurance, paid time off and sick leave for full-time hires
  • Medical malpractice insurance coverage
  • 401(k)
  • Ongoing professional development and specialized training in Mold Illness
  • Full coverage for the cost of maintaining current professional licenses and obtaining any required additional licenses.

What you'll do

  • Provide virtual care (via initial video visits and asynchronous messaging) for patients with suspected mold toxicity, utilizing our proprietary, evidence-based protocols as a foundation while leveraging your own deep clinical judgment.
  • Manage your own patient panel, emphasizing continuous communication and engagement with patients between monthly checkpoints to guide them through long-term recovery.
  • Perform comprehensive health assessments, including thorough review of symptoms, medical history, and environmental factors.
  • Issue lab orders and prescription medications as appropriate.
  • Help guide clinical workflow, onboard incoming providers, and contribute to the ongoing development of our treatment protocols and digital health solutions.

Qualifications

Must-haves:

  • Successful completion of APRN certification from an accredited program.
  • Active and in good standing APRN license in at least 25 states.
  • A strong desire to escape transactional telemedicine and pivot toward complex, meaningful chronic care management.
  • Start-up experience or a highly adaptable, entrepreneurial mindset.
  • The ability to efficiently manage high-volume asynchronous communications without sacrificing clinical thoroughness or empathy.
  • Proficiency in telemedicine, digital health platforms, and a knack for learning new technology quickly.
  • Minimum of 3,600 hours of in-person clinical experience, supervised by a collaborating physician.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for building genuine rapport with patients virtually.

Bonus points:

  • Certified and/or received specialized training in Mold Illness diagnosis and treatment
  • Active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) license
  • Active, unrestricted APRN license in all 50 states.
  • Issued prescriptive authority in the state(s) you are licensed to practice in
  • Experience in treatment and diagnosis of Mold Illness
