AI Deployment Manager

The Role:

The AI Deployment Manager owns the overall delivery and timeline across a portfolio of customer accounts. You are the customer's advisor and project manager throughout every ThoughtSpot deployment – managing scope, schedule, and stakeholders – so that the value promised during the purchase process is actually achieved, documented, and communicated. You work closely with the AI Outcomes Manager, who owns the customer relationship, the AI Outcomes Architect, who owns the technical design, and the AI Outcomes Analyst, who own the hands-on build – you are the delivery backstop for all of them. Success is measured by renewals, expansions, and the results delivered across every outcome-based engagement.

What You'll Do:

  • Be the advisor and first point of contact. Serve as the customer's primary point of contact throughout ThoughtSpot deployments, guiding them to business value as quickly as possible.
  • Own the project lifecycle. Manage the overall project schedule, deliverables, timelines, and aligned outcomes to keep every engagement on track.
  • Build relationships and champions. Build relationships with customer stakeholders, manage key stakeholders, and drive escalations both internally and with the customer.
  • Coordinate internally. Work across sales, engineering, product, leadership, and support to identify and resolve customer issues.
  • Build best-practice resources. Help build best-practice resources for delivering ThoughtSpot, and share them across the TS team and with customers.
  • Onboard and train. Onboard and train customers and end users on how to use ThoughtSpot.
  • Coach for adoption. Coach customers on what works best to make ThoughtSpot sticky, drive adoption, and maximize ROI.
  • Advocate for the customer. Look out for the customer's best interests and advocate internally on their behalf.
  • Spot growth opportunities. Assist in identifying and facilitating follow-on opportunities for growth within the customer account.

What You Bring:

  • Project management and consulting chops. Proven project management and consulting experience, with the ability to define and drive tactical implementation and management of a project end to end.
  • Platform fluent. Hands-on experience with BI tools such as ThoughtSpot, MicroStrategy, Tableau, Looker, or similar.
  • Technically capable across the ThoughtSpot suite. Able to manage and deliver highly technical projects across ThoughtSpot product lines such as AgentSpot, ThoughtSpot Embedding, and ThoughtSpot Analytics.
  • A stakeholder whisperer. Deep experience collaborating with multiple and varied stakeholders, including the skills and presence to interact directly with senior leaders.
  • Extensive customer-facing experience. Extensive customer-facing experience and stakeholder management skills, developed across enterprise engagements.
  • Outcome-based delivery experience. Proven experience designing and delivering outcome-based service engagements, where success is tied to measurable business results rather than hours delivered.
  • Ambitious and self-motivated. High degree of technical curiosity, with a proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • An effective influencer. Adept at influencing others to work with you on behalf of the customer; able to manage multiple projects and communicate progress against milestones clearly in a constantly shifting environment.
  • A strong communicator. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willing to travel. Able to travel as needed.
