About the role

The Culture and Engagement Specialist creates thoughtful, memorable experiences for both Triad Members and Team Triad. This role owns external member gifting and recognition, team member celebrations and recognition programs, and the culture calendar. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creative, and takes pride in making every gift and celebration feel personal and well executed.

What you'll do

External Member Gifting and Recognition

  • Own gifting for Triad Members, including birthdays, memorials, support gifts, and other special occasions, ensuring each gift is thoughtful and personalized.
  • Run the birthday report regularly to capture new birthdays, and maintain the member gifting calendar and gifting spreadsheet so no occasion is missed.
  • Research member preferences through the Triad Survey, JotForm survey responses, and outreach to members or internal teams; research gifts, obtain approval, wrap each gift, add a handwritten note, and schedule delivery for the occasion date when possible.
  • Respond to Culture Inbox requests from members, and post to Teams so the internal team can celebrate with the member.
  • Fulfill contest winner gifts (Sweat Challenge, social media), DBDL Academy call gift card drawings, Large Experience room drops, and podcast book and gift shipments.
  • Maintain the Gifting Brochure and communicate updates for the Triad Brief and Member Hub as appropriate.

Team Member Recognition and Celebrations

  • Coordinate culture touchpoints for new team members, Triad swag shipments, welcome supplies, surveys, and check-ins throughout the first year.
  • Plan and execute team milestone celebrations such as baby showers, weddings, and other significant life events.
  • Coordinate birthday celebrations (desk decorations, Teams post, gift cards) and work anniversary recognition, including gift preparation.
  • Oversee the DBDLer Awards program, including nomination forms, monthly winner prizes, leader hype, and TV screens.
  • Handle on-demand team gifting requests.

Culture Calendar and Experiences

  • Manage the culture calendar, planning internal team experiences and celebrations throughout the year.
  • Design and run culture experiences such as Office Olympics and monthly team happy hour celebrations.
  • Schedule monthly DBDL Download meetings and organize meeting details including presenter coordination, meeting room setup, and snacks.

Culture Program Administration

  • Code culture credit card expenses accurately, with proper documentation and timely processing.
  • Compile quarterly culture spending reports covering both external member and team member spending.
  • Inventory and order branded gifting supplies, including Triad cards, stickers, gifts, wine, pens, and apparel.
  • Curate Culture content as needed for the Triad Brief and Member Hub.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in team member engagement, gifting, client or member experience, or event planning, preferably in financial services.
  • Experience tracking expenses; working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Teams, Canva, Asana, Salesforce, and JotForm preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Follow-through and urgency: Keeps reports, calendars, and spreadsheets current so gifts and celebrations arrive on or before the occasion.
  • Project planning: Builds the culture calendar and plans experiences from concept to wrap-up with clear timelines, owners, and approvals.
  • Budget discipline: Tracks spend against the culture budget, codes expenses accurately and on time, and flags overages early.
  • Discretion and judgment: Handles sensitive occasions such as memorials with care and keeps member and team member information confidential.
  • Adaptability: Reprioritizes quickly when on-demand gifting requests arrive without losing sight of scheduled deliverables.
