Clinical Informatics & EHR Optimization Analyst

About VIP Medical Group

VIP Medical Group is a premier medical organization of two distinct brands: Vein Treatment Clinic and Pain Treatment Specialists. Each of our brands focuses on providing specialized, minimally invasive procedures to help our patients regain control of their lives.

One of the core principles at VIP Medical Group is our commitment to offering minimally invasive treatments. We believe that effective medical care should not come with the burden of extensive recovery times or significant discomfort. This philosophy drives our approach to both vein treatments and pain treatments, where we use state-of-the-art techniques to ensure the best possible outcomes with minimal disruption to your life.

Do More Than Support an EHR. Help Build What Comes Next.

VIP Medical Group is looking for an experienced Clinical Informatics & EHR

Optimization Lead to become our internal expert for NextGen clinical workflows,

provider documentation, and EHR optimization.

This is not a help-desk role.

It is not a project-management role.

And it is not a position where you will spend your time writing requirements for someone

else to build.

We are looking for someone with a clinical background and deep NextGen experience

who enjoys getting into the system, solving complex workflow problems, building better

templates, and seeing the impact of their work across an organization.

You will have significant ownership of how physicians and clinical teams use NextGen

across a growing, multi-site healthcare organization.

What You Will Do

You will:

  • Design, build, and optimize clinical templates and workflows in NextGen.
  • Work directly with physicians, APPs, and clinical teams to improve documentation and usability.
  • Reduce unnecessary clicks, duplicate documentation, and manual workarounds.
  • Build workflows that support medical necessity, Prior Authorization, treatment planning, procedure documentation, and payer requirements.
  • Help improve the quality of clinical data flowing downstream into operational and Revenue Cycle processes.
  • Lead testing and clinical validation of new workflows and system changes.
  • Help standardize clinical documentation across a growing clinic network.
  • Support new providers, new clinics, and future expansion.
  • Partner with Clinical Systems, Revenue Cycle, Operations, Data, Compliance, and technology vendors.
  • Help identify opportunities for automation, AI, and better system integration.
  • Build internal NextGen expertise and reduce dependency on outside development consultants.

What We Are Looking For

You should have:

  • Direct clinical experience as an RN, LPN, MA, NP, PA, Sonographer or another meaningful direct-care role. Informatic Certificate preferred.
  • 3+ years of meaningful NextGen EHR experience.
  • Hands-on experience building or modifying clinical templates and workflows within NextGen.
  • Strong knowledge of ambulatory clinical workflows.
  • Experience working directly with physicians and APPs.
  • Experience with EHR testing, implementation, and optimization.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • The ability to take a problem from identification through design, build, testing, and implementation.
  • Experience with NextGen Template Editor, Prior Authorization, Revenue Cycle, payer documentation requirements, SQL, APIs, HL7/FHIR, Luma, or specialty medicine is a plus.

Why Is This Opportunity Different?

  • VIP Medical Group is growing, and Clinical Systems is becoming increasingly important to how we scale.
  • That gives the right person an unusual amount of visibility and influence.
  • You will not be one analyst among dozens maintaining a mature environment with little ability to change it.
  • You will have the opportunity to help define how our EHR evolves, how our providers work, and how Clinical Informatics develops as a function.
  • You will work across clinical care, operations, Revenue Cycle, patient access, automation, and technology strategy.
  • As the organization grows, this role has significant potential to grow with it.

What We Offer

  • $105,00 - $120,000 base salary
  • Remote work
  • Meaningful enterprise ownership
  • Direct exposure to physicians and senior leadership
  • The opportunity to build, not simply maintain
  • Work across a growing multi-state healthcare organization
  • Career-growth potential as Clinical Systems & Informatics continues to expand
  • Periodic travel to clinics and organizational meetings
  • Potential opportunities for international travel as projects and organizational needs evolve

If you are the person others turn to when the NextGen problem is complicated, and you

enjoy turning inefficient clinical workflows into better ones, we want to hear from you.
