The Production Clerk Level I is responsible for supporting daily production operations by assisting with machine operation, material handling, and product assembly while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures to maintain production efficiency and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the operation of production machinery, ensuring equipment runs safely and efficiently.
• Feed raw materials into machines according to production specifications.
• Adhere to established safety practices and protocols in all work activities.
• Assemble products and parts accurately in accordance with production instructions.
• Report any issues with bulk components, machinery, or materials to the Production Supervisor.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for all tasks.
• Connect various product components to create finished goods.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies.
• Execute daily tasks and responsibilities assigned by the Production Supervisor.
• Ensure daily production quantities are fulfilled in accordance with the production schedule.
• Operate machinery in a manner that ensures all manufactured items meet company quality standards.
• Accurately measure, weigh, and handle materials; maintain proficiency in basic math skills as required for production tasks.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all work activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
• Basic math skills, including measurement and weight conversions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Familiarity with operating production machinery.

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of materials and finished goods up to 50 lbs.
• Manual dexterity and fine motor skills for assembling components and operating equipment.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
