We're Hiring Night Manager Guest Services & Safety (MOD)!

Full-Time | Overnight (Graveyard Shift)
$22–$25/hour (Based on Experience)


About the Role

Wonder Valley Ranch Resort is seeking a dependable, service-driven Overnight Guest Services & Safety Manager (MOD) to oversee resort operations during overnight hours.

The Overnight Manager is the on-site leader after hours, ensuring guest satisfaction, safety, and smooth resort operations when other departments are not present. The ideal candidate is confident working independently, comfortable making decisions, and committed to providing an exceptional guest experience—even in the quietest hours of the night.

This role may also be a great fit for candidates with experience as a Night Auditor, Night Manager, Front Desk Supervisor, Front Desk Manager, Hotel Manager, Resort Manager, Guest Services Manager, Security/Safety Supervisor, or Manager on Duty (MOD).


What You’ll Do

As the Overnight MOD, you’ll be responsible for maintaining operational excellence and guest satisfaction throughout the property by:

  • Serving as the on-site Manager on Duty during overnight shifts
  • Handling after-hours guest check-in/check-out and reservations as needed
  • Answering and routing incoming guest calls with professional phone etiquette
  • Resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Conducting routine property patrols and safety checks to ensure a secure environment
  • Coordinating with security staff during events when applicable
  • Overseeing overnight hotel and resort operations
  • Completing meeting room and event setup transitions, including furniture movement
  • Inspecting vacant rooms and facilities; reporting maintenance or housekeeping issues
  • Shutting down utilities in unused areas to support cost control efforts
  • Balancing cash banks and handling register transactions
  • Completing applicable night audit / end-of-day front desk procedures
  • Communicating overnight activity and key updates to incoming management and front desk teams
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous management or supervisory experience in hospitality, resort, hotel, or wedding/event venues
  • Strong customer service and guest relations skills
  • Strong conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during overnight hours
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
  • Comfortable with physical activity, including walking the property and light lifting
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Schedule & Work Requirements

  • Full-time overnight / graveyard shift
  • Overnight shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be comfortable working independently during overnight hours
  • Overtime may be required
