Revenue Operations Associate

Job Description

The Revenue Operations Associate (Commercial Operations & Contracts) serves as the operational backbone for the commercial lifecycle within the Accelerator team, reporting directly to the Revenue Operations Manager. This role bridges the gap between Sales, Legal, Finance, and Account Management to steward contracts from initiation through execution, billing reconciliation, and service fulfillment.

As the primary gatekeeper for commercial integrity, you will manage end-to-end contracting workflows, maintain audit-ready compliance, govern event attendance allocation and partner entitlements, execute accurate invoicing, and serve as the operational point of contact for external partners. This role requires sharp analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and a proactive problem-solving mindset to eliminate bottlenecks and prevent operational revenue leakage.

Key Responsibilities

1. Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) & Deal Governance

  • Contract Administration & Drafting: Facilitate the end-to-end execution of partner agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and standard SOWs, ensuring terms align with established commercial guidelines and risk policies.
  • Redline & Signature Coordination: Act as the operational liaison between account managers, external partner legal teams, and internal counsel to track negotiations, coordinate minor redlines, and drive timely signature turnaround.
  • Contract Repository & Compliance Auditing: Maintain a centralized, audit-ready digital contract repository, ensuring all executed agreements, amendments, and relevant tax forms are properly logged, tagged, and synced with CRM records.
  • Pipeline Milestone Tracking: Proactively monitor contracting stages across the pipeline to flag legal roadblocks, contract expirations, and renewal deadlines before they impact deal timelines or delivery schedules.

2. Invoicing Integrity & Revenue Reconciliation

  • Billing Operations: Manage timely, accurate invoice generation and delivery corresponding to contract terms and payment schedules.
  • Pre-Bill Auditing & Contract-to-Billing Alignment: Perform rigorous reconciliations between signed contract terms, CRM opportunity records, and finance ledgers to prevent revenue leakage, unbilled deliverables, or invoicing discrepancies.
  • Commercial Dispute & Adjustment Intake: Investigate and resolve partner billing inquiries, credit requests, or invoice adjustments at the operational level, streamlining communications before escalating to accounting or leadership.

3. Attendance Allocation & Entitlement Governance

  • Partner Entitlement Management: Audit and track partner contract terms to govern event allocations and program inclusion across core roundtables and virtual events.
  • Capacity & Attendance Allocation: Maintain dynamic tracking models to allocate and balance attendees across programs, preventing over-subscription and ensuring contractual fulfillment.
  • Fulfillment Audit & Post-Event Reconciliation: Reconcile post-event attendance records against contractual entitlements in Salesforce to ensure accountability, prevent uncontracted participation, and supply membership teams with utilization data for upcoming renewals.

4. Direct Vendor & Partner Relations

  • Operational Onboarding: Guide new partners and commercial vendors through administrative onboarding, ensuring required vendor profiles, payment details, and compliance verifications are completed seamlessly.
  • Vendor Operations Point of Contact: Serve as the direct liaison for external partner operations and billing desks, fielding procedural inquiries and resolving operational bottlenecks with high responsiveness.
  • SLA & Compliance Monitoring: Track partner compliance against performance timelines, delivery benchmarks, and insurance/regulatory prerequisites, alerting internal account owners to non-compliance risks.

5. Internal Enablement & Systems Governance

  • Deal Desk & Internal Enablement: Serve as the primary operational resource for internal sales and client teams on contract processes, pricing tier rules, approval thresholds, and intake workflows.
  • CRM Data Governance: Maintain pristine operational hygiene across Salesforce contract fields, opportunity stages, partner accounts, and delivery trackers.
  • Workflow Automation & Process Standardization: Continuously optimize standard operating procedures (SOPs), templates, and Google Sheets models, integrating AI workflows to eliminate manual data entry and accelerate deal velocity.
  • Cross-Functional Reporting: Deliver weekly visibility reports and exception dashboards to the Revenue Operations Manager covering pipeline status, pending signatures, billing milestones, and capacity allocations.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Experience: 2-4 years of progressive experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, Deal Desk, or Paralegal/Contract Management.
  • Contract & Commercial Acumen: Direct experience managing contract intake workflows, tracking SOWs, and navigating standard legal/commercial terms.
  • Systems Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency with Salesforce CRM (opportunity management, custom fields, and reporting) and advanced Google Sheets/Excel skills (advanced lookups, pivot tables, data hygiene, and reconciliation models).
  • Billing & Invoicing Workflow Knowledge: Familiarity with quote-to-cash workflows, pre-bill audit standards, and enterprise invoicing mechanics.
  • Process & Detail Orientation: Exceptional operational rigor; an instinct for spotting missing contract clauses, inaccurate billing amounts, or mismatched CRM fields before they impact operations.
  • Communication & Negotiation Agility: Polished written and verbal skills capable of managing communications with both internal sales leaders and external partner operations teams.
