Role Summary:

 

The Director of Recruiting Latam leads the full lifecycle recruitment, assessment, and engagement of Professional Services consultants and Interim executives across Accounting & Finance, Information Technology, HR, Digital/CX and other functional domains. This role is highly client-facing and is responsible for building elite talent pipelines, accelerating delivery speed, and ensuring a world-class experience for both clients and consultants.

 

You will drive strategic sourcing, market intelligence, candidate evaluation, and consultant relationship management to support the rapid deployment of interim leaders, project execution consultants and subject matter experts. You will leverage deep professional services, interim, consulting/big 4 and/or executive search experience, strong business judgment, data-driven insights, and consultative advisory skills to secure top-tier talent for high-impact engagements in private equity portfolio companies, global multinational, publicly listed organizations, and growth-oriented businesses.

This is a critical leadership role that directly influences revenue growth, client satisfaction, and the overall success of the interim services and project consulting (ISPC) practice in Latin America. You will serve as a strategic advisor to client leaders while building the consultant bench strength necessary to execute engagements within 24–72 hours. Success in this role is defined by your entrepreneurship mindset, agility, collaboration across sales and delivery teams, and ability to anticipate market demands. Key Responsibilities:

 

Strategic Talent Acquisition & Search Execution

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for interim executives and senior consultants across multiple industries and functional specialties.
  • Develop, execute, and continuously refine recruiting strategies that align with growth goals and future market needs.
  • Conduct market mapping, advanced sourcing, Boolean research, and proactive outreach to build diverse, high-quality talent pipelines.
  • Utilize technology, analytics, and AI tools to evaluate, track, and deliver vetted candidates quickly and accurately.
  • Partner with national/global sourcing teams to maximize capacity and market reach.

 

Client Partnership & Talent Advisory

  • Act as a trusted advisor to client leadership teams to understand business challenges and define talent requirements.
  • Provide insights on compensation, talent availability, market trends, and competitive intelligence.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Delivery leaders to ensure optimal talent alignment and project fulfillment.

 

Candidate Assessment & Consultant Management

  • Evaluate candidates using behavioral interviewing, competency-based assessments, and data-driven tools (e.g., Z-Score methodology).
  • Assess both technical expertise and cultural alignment for client environments.
  • Set competitive compensation for consultants based on skills, market intelligence, and engagement scope.
  • Guide consultants through onboarding, engagement cycles, and transitions between assignments.

 

Talent Engagement, Networking & Market Presence

  • Build and nurture a strong network of consultants, interim leaders, and referral sources.
  • Maintain an active presence via LinkedIn, social media, professional groups, and industry events.
  • Deliver a seamless candidate experience from initial outreach through placement and offboarding.
  • Represent the organization at conferences and networking events to elevate brand visibility.

 

Operational Excellence & Compliance

  • Maintain compliance with internal processes, documentation, reference/background checks, and profile creation.
  • Produce accurate, timely candidate profiles, assessment summaries, and internal consultant documentation.
  • Contribute to ongoing process enhancements and thought leadership within practice areas.

 

Qualifications:

 

Experience

  • 12+ years of professional services, interim, consulting/big 4 and/or executive search experience, professional services recruiting, or interim/executive staffing experience.
  • Demonstrated success placing C-suite, VP, Director-level, or high-impact specialist consultants.
  • Strong exposure to Private Equity portfolio companies and/or large global enterprises.
  • Experience recruiting in Accounting & Finance and/or Technology/Digital/CX is required; HR, Supply Chain, or related functional areas a plus.

 

Skills & Competencies

  • Exceptional sourcing capabilities using modern tools, databases, and social platforms.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to engage senior executives confidently.
  • High EQ, outstanding communication skills, and ability to influence and negotiate.
  • Proven ability to prioritize, multi-task, and operate in fast-paced environments.
  • Tech-forward mindset with strong proficiency in ATS, CRM, and AI-enabled recruiting tools.
  • Strong networking ability and a passion for building long-term relationships.

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required; business, information technology, , accounting/finance, or related field preferred.
