This role will be located in Vancouver, BC and is hybrid with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.


What You'll Do

  • Support full-cycle recruitment activities, including coordinating a high volume of virtual and on-site interviews, maintaining job postings, candidate communications, background checks and other recruitment administration.
  • Independently manage recruitment for assigned roles and the company's co-op program, including job postings, interviews, onboarding and funding applications.
  • Provide high-quality candidate and hiring manager experiences through timely, professional and personable communication throughout the recruitment process.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding and employee lifecycle activities, including preparing employment documentation, facilitating onboarding activities and ensuring required information and systems are updated.
  • Maintain accurate employee information in the company's HRIS and other HR systems and support ongoing data audits and reporting.
  • Provide day-to-day HR operational and administrative support, including employment agreements and letters, employment verifications, contract administration, background checks, employee records, HR requests/tickets, PR/PO submissions and filing.
  • Coordinate contractor intake, changes and offboarding processes.
  • Maintain recurring HR reports, organizational charts and workforce information, and supports HR and Finance with headcount and workforce data reconciliation.
  • Support the administration and ongoing delivery of HR programs and initiatives, including learning and development, employee recognition, performance management and other employee programs.
  • Conduct research, gather and analyze information, and prepare materials and recommendations to support HRBP-led programs and initiatives.
  • Support HR projects and business initiatives through project coordination, data collection and analysis, documentation, process mapping, testing, communications and implementation activities.
  • Assist with HR technology and process improvement initiatives, including HRIS implementations and enhancements.
  • Provide support for broader business initiatives, including organizational changes, acquisitions, divestitures and other special projects, as required.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, employee experience and administrative efficiency while maintaining established controls and procedures.
  • Provide general support and back-up to members of the HR team as needed.


What You'll Bring

  • 2-4 years of progressive Human Resources experience, with exposure to HR operations, recruitment and/or HR programs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CPHR progress/designation as an asset.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to independently prioritize multiple competing responsibilities and adapt as business needs change.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate employee data, records and documentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with employees, managers, candidates and external partners.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and exercise discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently within established processes, exercise sound judgment and recognize when matters require escalation.
  • Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather information, identify key themes and summarize findings clearly.
  • Comfortable working with HR data and reports, with strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience working with HRIS and/or applicant tracking systems; ability to learn and navigate new systems and technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to support multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, including coordinating activities, tracking deliverables and following through to completion.
  • Continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities to improve HR processes, efficiency and employee experience.

The base salary range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the location for which the job is posted and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by a variety of factors and the salary offered may vary depending on the successful candidate’s location and qualifications (including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, education, training, skills, and experience).
