About the Role:
As a Contract Reviewer at eSkillz, your role will involve drafting and reviewing legal contracts and/or agreements while providing guidance for open contract negotiations. We are building our sales processes, developing resources, and improving reporting & analytics capabilities. We are actively maturing our go to market function while upskilling our entire revenue team. Our goal is to establish a Revenue Generation function characterized by a “winning” attitude, a strong sense of urgency, and a passion for sales process accuracy.
The Revenue Operations (Rev Ops) team is aligned with our Business Development (BD)/Growth Division with a primary focus of assisting our business development and marketing teams with driving revenue and sales bookings growth for eSkillz. As a Contract Reviewer, you will be responsible for maintaining in-house contracts (templates) as well as maintaining records of all contracts across the business. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance and tracking changes or initiation of new contracts as needed.
Allied to our Business Development function, you’ll collaborate with leadership to align and prioritize your efforts with their project initiatives. As a vital part of our growing revenue generation pillar, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape processes and build pipelines to support our growth goals. What you'll do:
- Drafting of eSkillz agreements such as a Master Services Agreement, Statements of Work, Non-Disclosure Agreement, Amendments/Change Orders, etc.
- Review of all agreements before eSkillz signature and redline as needed for any client or vendor/partner agreements such as Referral Agreements, Partnership Agreements, Reseller Agreement, Service Level Agreements, Data Protection Agreements, Master Services Agreement, Statements of Work, Non-Disclosure Agreement, Amendments/Change Orders, Purchase Orders, etc. by merging eSkillz standard language with client or vendor/partner legal needs.
- Draft legal rebuttals and provide legal guidance around contract redlines on all agreements mentioned above by merging eSkillz and client or vendor needs into the agreements.
- Contract writing supporting maintenance of existing eSkillz agreement templates such as Master Services Agreement, Statements of Work, Amendments/Change Orders, etc.
- Ongoing legal research to support eSkillz policy updates and standards along with research within client or vendor/partner agreements.
- Send contracts utilizing DocuSign to applicable parties for execution of any/all agreements.
- Maintain negotiations guide for contract review and redlining purposes.
- Build internal notes template for reviewing contracts to translate into a tracking system for future reference and when final update terms into system for visibility and ease of reference. Tracking system is Salesforce CRM.
- Document all agreed upon terms of account level agreements within tracking system (Salesforce CRM) for company visibility and reporting/auditing.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote, and Excel.
- Experience in office administration.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in contract law, or other Business-related law fields.
- 2L law students and above are encouraged to apply!
- Three (3) years or more of professional experience.
- Preferred: Familiarity with professional consulting services companies.
