About the Role:
eSkillz is currently seeking applicants for a SharePoint Administrator Consultant from our Professional Services Division to be the primary point of contact for clients supporting their SharePoint site administration and optimization needs. These include, but not limited to, system configurations, consulting on best practices, solution design for SharePoint pages, Microsoft Forms design and related Microsoft apps, user management and troubleshooting permissions, and reporting. You need to be proficient in SharePoint and Microsoft 365 apps, Content Management and information architecture. Key areas of focus for this role will be:

Feature and functionality enhancements
Serve as the main SharePoint site administrator and solutions designer and developer.
Tasks Include:
Gather requirements from client and provide a mockup to confirm before proceeding with a solution
Create new SharePoint pages, document libraries, lists, forms as needed
Configure permission groups per SharePoint site and/or custom solution and manage access requests for users with the correct level of permissions based on audience
Audit permissions to ensure the client is following guidelines if they are given access to change permissions and remediate as needed
Troubleshoot issues and tasks related to the SharePoint site including attached apps such as Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Forms, Planner and more
Troubleshoot data feed issues if web parts pull data from other locations or if data files are saved within SharePoint
Review functionality in new releases and assist client with new feature enablement and rollout
Create ad-hoc reports or dashboards in SharePoint or using Power BI
Create notifications for SharePoint changes
Create surveys in Microsoft Forms
Work with the customer to determine the best tools in the Microsoft Platform for delivering content management, record management, or collaboration solutions
Provide recommendations to the client on ways to optimize the platform
Work with the client to standardize, streamline and coordinate business and system processes. Understand, document, and clearly communicate these business processes to both client stakeholders and internal teams.
Serve as liaison between client and technical resources as required; escalate issues through the proper channels and work with escalation point person to achieve issue resolution
Train other administrators on SharePoint and related Microsoft 365 functionality and processes.
Analyze client’s configuration designs and make recommendations for improvements
Create job aids and training guides to assist end-users and administrators
Bachelor's degree desired but not required
At least 2 years of experience working as a Sharepoint Administrator
2 to 5+ years of experience in medium-to-large organization in technical support role
Implementation and HR suite experience is a plus
Strong experience with customer support or client management
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and effective organization and project management skills
Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
Experience in training or customer/client support role
Must be a U.S. citizen
Ability to receive and maintain and government security clearance (Public Trust)
Ability to travel to Washington, D.C. on as needed basis
