About the Role:

eSkillz is seeking an IT Project Manager & Business Analyst to join our Information Technology team and play a key role in modernizing our business systems and supporting operational scale. The primary initial focus of this role will be leading the selection and implementation of new platforms and sunset legacy systems to support our growing consulting organization.

In this role, you will act as both a Project Manager and Business Analyst—leading delivery while deeply engaging in requirements discovery, process analysis, and data-driven decision support to ensure solutions meet true business needs. This role will also serve as a long-term owner and coordinator for key enterprise SaaS platforms, vendor relationships, and system-related projects across the organization. You will work closely with stakeholders in services, sales, finance, and leadership to ensure systems are well-integrated, scalable, and aligned with business processes.

This position will support our ISO 27001 program by assisting with controls documentation, evidence collection, and system-related compliance activities. This role will evolve over time to support additional IT initiatives, system improvements, and process optimization efforts as the company grows.

This is a fully remote position, operating during typical US business hours, and is well-suited for a proactive professional who is comfortable operating in a lean IT environment and taking ownership of complex, cross-functional initiatives.

What you'll do:

  • Lead structured requirements discovery efforts, including stakeholder interviews, workshops, and working sessions, to elicit functional, non-functional, and reporting requirements.
  • Lead the end-to-end selection and implementation of new platforms to replace legacy systems, including requirements documentation and gathering, business process mapping, vendor evaluation, data migration planning, testing and validation, and post-launch optimization.
  • Develop business cases, cost/benefit analyses, and implementation recommendations to support platform selection, prioritization, and executive decision-making.
  • Exercise sound judgment in balancing speed, cost, risk, and long-term maintainability when evaluating systems and vendors.
  • Partner closely with stakeholders across services, sales, finance, and leadership to ensure system workflows support real-world consulting processes and reporting needs.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and external vendors to ensure effective communication, timely delivery, and successful outcomes.
  • Coordinate and support integrations between the new platforms and other core business systems (e.g., CRM, financial).
  • Provide ongoing ownership and coordination for key enterprise SaaS platforms, including user administration, licensing, configuration changes, enhancements, and general system maintenance.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, renewals, and usage in collaboration with IT leadership to ensure systems are scalable, cost-effective, and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Oversee system updates and enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate vendor support as needed.
  • Assist with ISO 27001 program activities related to IT systems, including controls documentation, evidence collection, and coordination with internal or external audits.
  • Document system configurations, integrations, and operational processes to support continuity and knowledge sharing.
  • Provide regular project updates, risks, and status reporting to senior management, and proactively recommend system or process improvements based on business needs and industry trends.

What we're looking for:

  • Demonstrated experience leading IT or business systems projects, particularly SaaS platform selection and implementation.
  • Experience working with vendors through procurement, implementation, and ongoing support.
  • Demonstrated experience performing business analysis activities, including requirements elicitation, documentation, and validation across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Strong experience translating ambiguous business needs into clear, actionable requirements, user stories, or functional/technical specifications and system-level solutions.
  • Experience in developing RFPs to solicit vendor bids.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise SaaS environments, user management, and system governance.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex business processes and identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and scalability.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, especially in cross-functional environments.
  • Comfortable working independently in a lean IT organization.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience with PSA platforms, ERP, CRM, or professional services tools.
  • Familiarity with consulting or professional services business models.
  • Exposure to ISO 27001 or similar compliance frameworks.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365–centric environments.
