Job Summary

The Expeditor III is a senior role involving managing critical path items, implementing process improvements, and handling complex projects with a high degree of autonomy, serving as a key point of contact for project management and engineering teams

Essential Duties

·         Perform all duties in a safe manner and promotes “Safety First” mentality across team.

·         Manage and prioritize expediting tasks for assigned project jobs and ensure all parts are inventoried and delivered along with communicating remaining open BOM items.

·         Develop and implement material management and control plans and procedures to optimize inventory levels and workflow efficiency.

·         Analyze capacity constraints and collaborate with department managers and production planning to balance workloads and resources.

·         Provide regular, detailed updates and progress reports to management and key stakeholders regarding WIP BOM status and potential project risks.

·         Mentor junior expediters and support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain and operations.

·         Communicate with supervisors, and managers regarding material status, potential shortages, or delays.

·         All duties assigned by direct lead, supervisors, or managers.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Required / Preferred Education & Experience

·         High school diploma or equivalent

·         3-5+ years of experience in an expediting or supply chain coordination role, preferably within a heavy manufacturing or industrial setting (e.g., Oil & Gas, Switchgear).

Supervisory Duties

None.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This position operates in an active manufacturing facility. While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Use of standard office equipment is necessary, and the employee will need to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.

The pay range for this role is:

25 - 28 USD per hour (ESS Metron - Denver, CO)
