Job Summary

Receives, stores and issues equipment, material, supplies or merchandise and compiles stock records in stockroom by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties

·         Perform all duties in a safe manner and promotes “Safety First” mentality across team

·         Counts, sorts or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoices.

·         Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications

·         Stores articles in bins on floor or on shelves, according to identifying information such as style, size, or type of material

·         Fills orders or issues supplies from stock

·         Prepares periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock

·         Requisitions articles to fill incoming orders

·         Compiles reports on adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, damage to stock, location changes and refusal of shipments

·         Marks identifying codes, figures or letters on articles

·         Distributes stock among production workers, keeping records of material issued

·         Determines methods of storage, identification and stock location, considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities and required space

·         Moves or transports material or supplies to other departments

·         Maintains inventory and other stock records

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office

·         Familiarity with ERP systems (Epicor preferred)

·         Pulling, picking, kitting experience

·         Valid forklift certification a plus

Required / Preferred Education & Experience

·         High school diploma or equivalent

·         One year of related experience and or training

·         Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Supervisory Duties

None.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This position operates in an active manufacturing facility. While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Use of standard office equipment is necessary, and the employee may need to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

The pay range for this role is:

23 - 26 USD per hour (ESS Metron - Denver, CO)

23 - 26 USD per hour (ESS Metron - DC Warehouse)
