About the role


Ethique is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Associate Social Media Manager to craft our online presence on organic social media, and community building. Reporting to the Director of Consumer Engagement, this role requires a passion for the beauty industry, coupled with proven experience in content creation across channels. The ideal candidate will have a portfolio of creative social media executions, a hands-on mentality and storytelling eye. To deliver social media growth grounded in education and distinctive execution, looking beyond the trends.


Location: Remote (must be based in USA)

Salary: $65,000 - $70,000


What you'll do

  • Direct, shoot, and edit content with an elevated aesthetic and clear storyboard
  • Write, schedule, and optimize daily posts across multiple social platforms, including responsibility for daily postings
  • Engage with our customers and followers across social media in a manner that best reflects our brand values and mission.
  • Elevate key learnings from our community to our leadership team.
  • Work closely with our CX team to ensure we are responding to all customers in a timely and appropriate manner in regards to their orders.
  • Maintain and communicate defined brand voice, visual aesthetic, and mission to internal and external contacts
  • Take pride and ownership in community building on social media, from DMs to comments and IRL
  • Work closely with the Director of Consumer Engagement to execute marketing strategies on social in an organized and efficient manner.
  • Pitch social angles and social-extension ideas that align with editorial brand objectives to help build a brand world
  • Support cross-functional brand efforts w. social distribution including collaboration on visuals, messaging, and calendar management
  • Adept at uncovering insights and analytics to improve and refine reach across all social platforms
  • Find and nurture relationships with key creators focused on increasing reach and growing brand awareness

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience managing social channels for a beauty, wellness or social-first brand
  • Excellent editorial judgment and ability to capture Ethique’s voice with an eye for the details
  • Analytical understanding, experience with data insights, and a working knowledge of social data tools
  • Ability to successfully multitask across multiple high priority projects with strong written and verabl communication
  • Proficiency in Canva and/or other graphic design platforms and editing software
  • Strong cross-functional communication to collaborate with teams throughout the organization
  • Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and works well in fast-paced environments
  • Passion for social media marketing, beauty & pop-culture trends
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends
