Position Overview:

We seek a dynamic, experienced leader to serve as Director, Trade & Supply Chains. This role is integral to our efforts to provide actionable, relevant insight on global trade, supply chain dynamics, and policy risk to cross border investment flows to our clients. Working closely with colleagues across our US, Europe, and Asia teams, the Director will develop and execute a robust analytical research agenda, manage a small team of experts, and deliver advisory services to some of the world’s leading companies and investors.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze global political and policy developments affecting international trade, sanction and export control risks, and cross-border supply chains, with a focus on compliance, legal frameworks, and political risks.
  • Provide forward-looking insights to corporations and investors on how to navigate a complex, shifting policy environment.
  • Lead and mentor a small team of trade and supply chain specialists, fostering excellence and collaboration.
  • Drive the creation of high-quality, relevant research products, including written briefs, presentations, and client workshops.
  • Act as a thought partner to senior stakeholders both internally and externally, helping them anticipate and respond to trade policy and regulatory changes.
  • Collaborate with EG regional analysts to ensure a globally integrated perspective and to contribute to major projects at the intersection of trade, supply chain management, and political risk.
  • Maintain and deepen relationships with key clients, policy makers, industry groups, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in trade policy, supply chain management, consulting, or related fields, with direct exposure to compliance, legal, and political risk issues.
  • Demonstrated track record of analytical excellence and dispassionate, rigorous assessment of political and policy impacts on trade and supply chains.
  • Strong understanding of global trade frameworks; deep US policy making experience highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to translate complex developments into actionable insights for corporate and investor audiences.
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced degree in international relations, law, public policy, business, or a related field preferred.


The applicable base salary range for this role is $140,000 to $165,000.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
