Position Overview
We are seeking an administrative professional for the New York office. This is an in-office full-time position. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant office experience within a fast-paced client-services organization. Qualified applicants will also have the following: a strong sense of professionalism, diplomacy, and confidentiality; excellent coordination and written communication skills; the ability to handle multiple responsibilities and priorities; a strong sense of attention to detail; exceptional interpersonal skills and must be proactive rather than reactive. Preferred candidates have strong Microsoft Suite experience and are comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance. Punctuality, reliability, and strong attendance are a must.
The New York Office Receptionist will report to the Global Office Management Lead and Brazil Operations
Receptionist, Office Associate Administrative Responsibilities:
Duties include, but are not limited to:
· Act as the first point of contact to all visitors and callers at Eurasia Group’s NY office, greeting guests, escorting them to conference rooms, and connecting them with members of the EG staff.
· Provide calendar, travel, and admin support for 2 Eurasia Group Managing Directors, as directed.
· Maintain strong professional relationships with vendors for the NY office.
· Oversee the office’s daily activities to ensure efficient operations.
· Responsible for mail distribution, receive deliveries, and upkeep of the reception desk.
· Maintain office organization and multiple pantries by cleaning and organizing daily, checking office supply inventory weekly, and re-ordering supplies as needed.
· Improve and enhance office aesthetics, office supply, and maintenance.
· Prepare conference rooms for guests.
· Coordinate logistics for the NY office’s social events, including work anniversary celebrations, office happy hours, and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies.
· Collaborate with administrative professionals across all EG offices, providing support where needed.
· Occasional work on special projects and events such as business offsites, client breakfasts, luncheons, and dinners.
· Providing onboarding assistance to new hires in the office, such as badge activation, answering new hire inquiries, and assisting with laptop and desk setup.
· Willingness to learn and grow into more responsibilities with a strong focus on property management.
· Familiarity with basic building systems is a plus but not required.
· Provide occasional outdoor cleanup.
· Other duties as assigned by the Head of Business Operations Manager.
The applicable base salary range for this role is $55,000 to $63,000.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

The pay range for this role is:
55,000 - 63,000 USD per year (New York)
