Position Overview:


Eurasia Group is actively seeking a versatile and dynamic analyst to join our esteemed practice in Brasília. We are looking for a candidate with a profound understanding of Brazilian politics, particularly how government policy interacts with and impacts the business environment and trade associations. This role will focus on energy and infrastructure sectors within Brazil and will support our clients by providing timely and insightful political analysis.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive network of research contacts across government agencies and ministries, with a primary focus on energy and infrastructure, to enhance the analysis of political and regulatory trends in Brazil.
  • Support the coordination and execution of research projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality insights and timely reports to clients.
  • Engage in complex political analysis and develop strategies that influence client decisions and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to a collective pool of knowledge regarding Brazilian politics and economic conditions.
  • Maintain an 80/20 balance between research/writing and client presentations, adapting to the needs of each particular client.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in institutional relations, political consultancy, or a related field.
  • Deep knowledge of Brazilian politics and regulatory environments.
  • Strong research and project management skills.
  • Fluency in both Portuguese and English is mandatory.
  • In-country experience in Brazil is highly preferred.
  • A solid academic foundation and proven analytical skills are advantageous.
  • Right to work in Brazil.
