About the Role

Eutis Staffing is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support patient care at the Paramus Veterans Memorial Home. This role is part of a dedicated healthcare team providing essential daily care to veterans in a long-term care environment.

The CNA will work alongside nurses and clinical staff to ensure residents receive attentive, respectful, and high-quality care. This position requires professionalism, reliability, and a strong commitment to supporting patient well-being.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct patient care including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Support nursing staff with patient monitoring and basic clinical tasks.
• Assist residents with meals and ensure proper nutrition and hydration.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to the nursing team.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and supportive environment for residents.
• Communicate respectfully and effectively with residents, families, and healthcare staff.
• Follow all facility policies, infection control procedures, and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
• CPR Certification
• Fully COVID-19 vaccinated with booster (documentation required)
• Flu vaccination with documentation
• Valid state-issued ID or driver’s license
• Ability to work scheduled shifts (7:00am–3:00pm, 3:00pm–11:00pm, or 11:00pm–7:00am)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused attitude
• Ability to pass background screening and required employment verification
