Our Field Operations Manager


Will oversee and manage the performance of external third-party installation teams in the New York and New Jersey area. This role is responsible for ensuring the successful installation of EV charging stations while upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency and driving continuous improvement across all field operations.


Responsibilities: 


  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of external third-party installation teams, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of multiple installation projects, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management.

  • Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that all installations meet EverCharge's standards and comply with local regulations and industry best practices.

  • Ensure that all installation teams adhere to safety protocols and regulations, conducting regular site inspections and safety audits to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party vendors and contractors, negotiate contracts, manage performance, and resolve any issues that arise during the installation process.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the installation phase, addressing any concerns or issues and ensuring a positive customer experience.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings, implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Prepare and present detailed reports on project performance, financials, and operational metrics to senior management.


Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in field operations management, preferably within the construction, electrical, or EV charging industry.

  • An active C10 license or equivalent is highly preferred.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing and leading teams, with the ability to inspire and motivate external partners to achieve high-performance levels.

  • Strong project management skills, with experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously and managing complex schedules.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

  • In-depth understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and EV charging technology.

  • Willingness to travel within the NY/NJ area to oversee installation sites.


Job Title and Compensation:

  • The base salary range for this position is between $140,000 and $185,000, based on full-time employment. 

  • Actual salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and work location.
