Content Marketing Specialist, Workplace Training Business (WCN)

Workplace Culture Network (WCN) at EVERFI is a business line focused on helping companies create a safe and inclusive environment for their employees through its training courses. This role would sit within WCN's Marketing team.


The WCN Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for driving brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation through compelling content, and strategic digital initiatives. This role requires a mix of creativity and strategic thinking. A strong storyteller who can create impactful content across multiple formats while optimizing content for performance is what we are looking for. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of how content influences the customer journey, ensure messaging consistency across campaigns, and enhance audience engagement through video, social, and web content. As the WCN team's go-to content creator, you will develop both quick-turn assets and larger-scale projects that support marketing campaigns, sales enablement, and brand growth. This person will collaborate with marketing and revenue leaders, internal subject matter experts, and product marketing to deliver quarterly and annual revenue targets, innovative product launches, and compelling thought leadership. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Support the production of high-quality content, including but not limited to white papers, blogs, webinars, eBooks, research reports in support of new business or customer engagement initiatives and revenue goals 
  • Create pillar content to be used for lead generation in support of key messaging points and value propositions 
  • Repackage and edit pillar content into channel appropriate pieces to drive inbound traffic, power outbound campaigns, and support revenue outreach in partnership with Demand Generation and Customer Engagement marketers 
  • Work with Demand Generation marketers and sales to create custom, individualized content for account-based marketing campaigns 
  • Implement design best practices to create captivating content for both online and offline use 
  • Conduct ongoing maintenance and archival of existing content to optimize traffic and ensure brand and messaging consistency 
  • Maintain consistent EVERFI brand standards and tone of voice across content pieces and channels 
  • Design and build necessary assets to support programs like landing pages, emails, and graphics 
  • Optimize content for search engine performance and collaborate with digital marketing teams on keyword strategies, content structure, and campaign alignment to improve online visibility and lead generation. 
  • Plan, schedule, and analyze content marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with business objectives and using performance metrics to refine strategies. 
  • Other job-related duties as assigned 

 

Skills, Experience and Qualifications 

  • 3+ years of digital marketing or content marketing experience, or a related field, with proven experience driving lead generation and audience engagement through content strategies. 
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, content management systems, and analytics platforms. 
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines 
  • Working knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Marketing Automation software; Marketo and Salesforce preferred 
  • Working knowledge of content management system; WordPress preferred 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills 
  • Sales enablement experience is a plus 
  • Content design and light photo editing experience is a plus 
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
