K-12 Regional Lead, South

The K-12 Regional Lead manages a team of Implementation Success Specialists and District Success Leads, and is responsible for coaching, training and developing the team to ensure K-12 course & student activation sponsor goals are achieved for the South. The Regional Lead also collaborates directly with internal teams & external partners to ensure partner & sponsor needs are met for their Region.  


Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure team quota and course activation goals are met through collaboration across the K-12 implementation team including implementation success specialists and district success leads.
  • Set priorities for outbound communication based on sponsor and district goals for activation and growth.  
  • Coach, manage & mentor a team of K-12 members as well as support the professional development of the team through performance management and coaching strategies to ensure expectations, activation & student goals are being met. 
  • Collaborate cross departmentally to represent the team’s interests, priorities, challenges, and concerns to help meet and maintain partner goals in the region across K-12 communications, marketing, account management, customer success, and operations.  
  • Create goals for each direct report with a vision and strategy to ensure both individual and regional sponsor goals are accomplished.   
  • Work with the District Success Leads to create district strategy and objectives for their portfolios and and develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress. 
  • Serve as Schools Lead for highly complex accounts and national partnerships. This includes but is not limited to liaising between the Revenue team and K-12 team, participating in partner meetings and providing updates to the K-12 team on progress of external partner goals. 
  • Support customer success and sales teams by serving as a liaison between the K-12 team and EVERFI’s customers who provide the funding for the resources, including joining meetings with customers and prospects to speak to the need for this education and the positive impact on students, educators, and the greater community, and working with the greater K-12 implementation team to ensure that the customers’ programming is being utilized at scale across the sponsored schools. 
  • Oversee the hiring and onboarding of new team members. This includes, but is not limited to, interviewing candidates, training and guiding new hires with work responsibilities & sharing best practices and knowledge of the company and K-12 division.  
  • Develop and maintain current knowledge on trends within the K12 system, education technology, and EVERFI’s platform and courses: understand standards alignment, challenges faced by educators, implementation best practices across the country, etc.
  • Other job related duties as assigned. 
     

Skills, Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or relevant experience in the education field 
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience working in related roles delivering and activating services against defined goals, 5 years preferred 
  • Experience in the education industry, or related fields including but not limited to non-profits and technology start-ups 
  • At least 1 year experience managing or mentoring a team, preferred 
  • Proven ability in making recommendations to improve work processes and efficiencies internally 
  • Ability to influence large school networks to activate K12 courses at scale 
  • Strong ability to work independently and achieve goals
  • Quick learner, resourceful and ability to troubleshoot technology 
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills 
  • Strong presentation skills, including proficiency with presentation & communication tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Groove, WebEx, Zoom, etc.
  • Experience using Salesforce.com or other data management systems preferred
  • Ability and means to travel on a flexible schedule at least 40% of the time
