About the role

We are seeking a bilingual HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources team in Montreal. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about creating a positive employee experience. You will support day-to-day HR operations and play a critical role in coordinating administrative and employee support activities across our Canadian workforce.

What you'll do

  • HR Administration
    • Maintain employee records in the HRIS and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality
    • Prepare employment letters, contracts, and documentation for new hires and internal changes
    • Assist with benefits administration, including employee enrollments and responding to inquiries
    • Support payroll processes by ensuring timely submission of employee data and changes
  • Employee Lifecycle Support
    • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding logistics for Canadian employees
    • Respond to HR-related questions from employees and provide timely support or escalation
    • Assist with internal communications and HR-related announcements
  • Recruitment Support
    • Post job openings on internal and external job boards
    • Coordinate and conduct interviews and communication with candidates
    • Support reference checks and background screening processes
  • Compliance & Administration
    • Ensure compliance with Quebec labor laws and company policies
    • Maintain employee device compliance and inventory management 
    • Support CTO and Accountant with Office and Administrative responsibilities 

Qualifications

  • 3 years of HR experience, ideally in a coordinator or generalist capacity
  • Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written)
  • Strong understanding of employment standards in Quebec
  • Proficient with HRIS systems (e.g., Rippling, BambooHR, ADP) and G-Suite Application
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary Range: C$ 58,000 - 65,000
