We are a growing software company based in Vancouver, WA with a cloud SaaS solution. We're currently the top business software in the Pool, Hot Tub, and Hearth industries - and looking to grow well beyond that in the years to come.

Here’s a snapshot of what we want you to do:

As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements, analyze existing systems, and design effective ERP solutions that achieve business objectives.


Here’s the stuff we expect you to be doing day to day:

  • Prepare well-documented functional specifications that accurately relay stakeholder requirements.

  • Assist with high level solution wireframes that depict approved, actionable requirements.

  • Participate in and eventually lead requirements gathering meetings and conversations with the end goal of cultivating an agreed set of functional requirements across numerous projects.

  • Review project requirements and business objectives with the engineering team to ensure understanding and feasibility.  Communicate design changes to the product team and participate in stakeholder reviews to provide context.

  • Participate in backlog refinement meetings and preparation as necessary.  Occasionally, you will need to join those meetings or work with a Product Owner to relay project requirements and answer questions about the project being refined.

  • Participate in user acceptance testing and document shortcomings, enhancements, or bugs.

  • Review end-user documentation and training materials for accuracy and completeness.

Plus these Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field or 6 years equivalent work experience.

  • 3 or more years (combined) of Quality Assurance, Data Analysis, or Business Analysis.

  • Advanced computer skills.

  • Understanding of industry standards in accounting, inventory, scheduling, and retail.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.


Preferred Education and Experience

  • ERP software experience

  • Figma / Balsamiq experience

  • Experience working in Retail or Service


Here’s where you’ll hang out:

This is a hybrid position working from your home and our office.  When working from our corporate headquarters in Vancouver, Washington you’ll be in a professional office environment that’s easily accessible. We are located less than a mile from I-5, and across the street from a natural grocery store, a brewery, and many local restaurants.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position and workdays are Monday through Friday during regular business hours. This position will work in a hybrid work environment and has the option to work remotely multiple days a week, or at the office full-time if desired. This position may also be required to work weekend on-call shifts for client system down emergencies.

 

Travel

Travel may be required occasionally for client on-site meetings.
