Position Overview


The Senior Accountant is a key member of our finance team, responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with accounting standards. This role bridges daily accounting operations and strategic financial planning, providing leadership with reliable information to guide decisions. You’ll work closely with team members across departments, support audits and budgets, and help improve processes that strengthen our financial operations.

 

Job Duties 

  • Analyze transactions and allocate expenditures
  • Managing the general ledger and performing account reconciliations.
  • Assisting with budget preparation and forecasting
  • Preparing and analyzing financial statements
  • Assisting with accuracy and compliance with accounting principles
  • Developing and documenting accounting policies and procedures
  • Assisting with internal and external audits 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting (or completion expected withing 12 months)
  • 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Master’s degree in accounting (MAcc) (Preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare accurate reports
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
