As VP of Finance at Fabric, you will serve as a strategic financial leader, directly impacting our growth trajectory within the dynamic healthcare technology landscape. Reporting to the COO, you will manage financial resources, optimize cash flow, mitigate industry-specific risks, and drive strategic initiatives that align with our mission to transform patient care. This is a fully remote role, offering the opportunity to lead from anywhere.

What You Will Do:

  • Financial Leadership: Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs tailored to the unique metrics and regulatory environment of healthcare technology companies.
  • Strategic Planning: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes that account for the complexities of healthcare reimbursement, market dynamics, and technological advancements within the sector.
  • Financial Modeling & Analysis: Own the forecast model and conduct ad-hoc analyses, including ROI assessments for new product developments and partnerships within the healthcare ecosystem.
  • Performance Monitoring & Compliance: Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and ensure compliance with healthcare-specific financial regulations and reporting standards relevant to SaaS or software technology companies.
  • Business Partnering with Clinical & Tech Teams: Collaborate closely with clinical and technology leaders to align financial strategies with product development, market expansion, and patient care initiatives within a technology focused company.
  • Process Improvement for Scalable Growth: Identify and optimize financial processes to support rapid growth within the healthcare technology sector, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
  • Executive Reporting & Investor Relations: Develop materials for management reviews, board meetings, and investor communications, highlighting key financial metrics and strategic initiatives.
  • M&A and Strategic Partnerships: Participate in and support due diligence and integration activities related to potential mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships preferably involving healthcare technology companies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA, CPA, and/or CFA preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with a proven track record in a leadership role within healthcare and/or technology companies.
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing high-performing teams in a fast-paced, high growth environment.
  • Strong experience with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and strategic partnerships preferably within healthcare technology companies.
  • Deep understanding of financial planning, analysis, and reporting within a SaaS or software technology business model.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial software (Quickbooks, etc.).
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen understanding of and interest in the market and regulatory landscape.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial information to diverse audiences.
